Wonderful hotel near the Rue de Cler. Walking distance to the Eiffel tower and in a nice area with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Rooms were small but clean and the people working were very helpfull. Definitely would recommend to my friends as a place to stay.

A note to echo the other reviews. Very cosy, very accommodating and very friendly. Our double room was quite small but for the price it was amazing value. Staff very eager to help. Fantastic location - The building is built over the Metro like most of the rest of Central Paris but hardly noticeable.

This hotel book-ended our month-long vacaton in France. On previous occasions we had happily stayed in Le Marais but this time tight flight connections made airport transporation critically important. L'Hotel Motte Picquet arranged for direct van transportation from and to Charles de Gaulle airport (and to the Gare de Lyon for an early TGV reservation to Avignon). We were also grateful for the kindness and helpfulness of Mo at the reception desk. When my wife and I returned to Paris and this hotel after having been traveling for 3-plus weeks in that beautiful country we were so happy to be greeted by Mo and to share our experiences with him. He even helped us to check-in online for our return trip to California. Of course, the location- by the Rue Cler- the proximity to Metro and bus connections, and the favorable price/comfort ratio make this hotel a top choice. But we were really impressed by the helpfulness and the welcoming attitude of the staff, especially Mo. It is this latter quality that has set this hotel apart from our other hotel experiences.
