stayed in the junior suite for my honeymoon, brilliant room with spiral staircase leading up to a 4 poster bed for us and downstairs a pull out sofa bed for our child.
the room is away from the hotel and very quiet and private, cab costs about 10 euros from station, its walkable but easier by car.
the hotel has the perfect location and is really close the the main area of bruges and many restaurants. hotel restaurant was quiet so we ate out.
the pool is clean and very quiet, the breakfast is amazing ( if you get in included in your package..else very pricey).
really enjoyed the hotel and lovely bruges for a honeymoon

Went here for a night on my two-year anniversary and it was absolutely perfect. The room we were given was immaculate and beautifully designed. The location was excellent and the staff were polite, if a little stiff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
One thing I would say is, upon arrival, ask for a choice of rooms. We did this, and were offered two very different rooms, one much nicer than the other. Also, prior to booking I asked for a discount, though it was high season, as I booked early i managed to knock off about 50 euros from the price.

I visited Brugge in the off-season with a friend and got a great rate at this hotel. The location is fantastic and the hotel is immaculately maintained. We were upgraded to a superior deluxe room, which was up a very narrow set of stairs, but it was well worth it when we finally hauled all our luggage up. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable and plush, the private balcony looked out into a quiet courtyard, and the bathroom was beautifully modern.
The staff was very friendly and provided us with a map as well as directions to tourist sites without us asking. The small hotel bar was also a nice place for a nightcap after a long day of sightseeing. They were doing some renovations with the facilities (the main entrance was closed and the turkish bath was out of order), but being their outside of the major tourist season was well worth it.

Overall: This is a four star, small hotel (45 rooms) and quite a wonderful place to stay.
Location: Nice location in the old city. Once you are here, everything in the old town is accessible on foot (take a map). The issue we had was initially finding the place. We came in at night and construction in the one way streets really threw us off. The hotel did offer to send someone to come direct us, but we opted to find it ourselves. If not for the good will of a local who actually led us there, we would not have found the hotel. Travel in during the day by car might also be difficult because the small one way streets fill with tourists.
Facilities: This is an old 15th century mansion with lots of character. It has a small breakfast room and a dining room and small bar. It also has a pool open until 2AM. The pool area includes a hot tub, sauna, Turkish bath, washrooms, showers and water cooler. The pool is small, but nice. Towels are there for your use.
Parking: They have a private gated parking lot for about a dozen cars. The trick is it is hidden through a hole in the wall that fits one vehicle down an alley. You then come to a gate on the right where you can buzz the intercom for entrance. Once you are parked, leave the car. Driving in Brugge is not advised. Parking is 25 Euros a night.
Check in: Staff was very helpful and sincerely pleasant. We found front desk staff to be excellent.
Room: A nice spacious room with a large comfortable bed and nice linens (real sheets not covered single duvet covers on a single bed). There is a minibar, safe, TV, air conditioning (not needed for us), nice bath room with 2 sinks, towel warmer, bath tub, separate stand up shower, bath robes and slippers (the best on our two week trip). There was a sitting room in our room as well. Note we had a ground floor room which did have some noise outside the door. I also noted some humming noises in the walls - perhaps the pipes? Not a factor that impacted our rest.
Breakfast: Cost is 30 Euro per person (small children free). Eggs can be ordered to your liking. Buffet has breads, cereal, cold meats and smoked salmon, juices, cakes and chocolates, fruit.
Value: We found the room rate for the hotel to be very reasonable

Had the great pleasure of spending two nights here - wish it had been 20! A real gem of a find, and worth every penny. Lovely classical frontage, well furnished and decorated to a high standard.
Beautiful bedroom (233), 2nd floor, overlooking the canal, quiet central spot - despite tourists walking along this popular location. Fabulous large bed with linen - best hotel bed I've slept in for years. Large bathroom twin sinks, bath with overhead shower, loo and separate walk-in shower cubicle.
The hotel has a pool, jacuzzi, sauna + Turkish open from 1000 - 0200, yes seriously, nothing quite like a dip at midnight! (Bathrobes and slippers provided in own room.)
Breakfast is yet another experience - Champagne, chocolate fountain, crepes etc. etc.
Go and experience ..... you will not be disappointed I promise!
Can't wait to return one day.
