A friend of mine was due to stay in Geneva on a business trip but couldnt make it at the last minute,so we got the 4 day break instead,at a knock down price. We were lucky to have a junior suite, which was very clean and comfortable, but If I was paying ?250 a night I would want a lot more for the money. At breakfast they had run out of bread rolls and I asked for some more, had to laugh the waitress came back with just one!!!Maybe she didnt quite understand me,or perhaps she thought I needed to go on a diet. The pick up service from the airport was excellent, and the free local travel pass a nice touch. The pass came in handy for crossing the lake and shopping. The local bus into town was every 10 minutes, and only about 5 minutes away.We went on a wonderful trip to Glacier 3000 and Gstaad, which I would highly recommend. One night we went for an Indian meal and the bill for 2 was ?90!!Which was quite a expensive,as the portions were not that big.Overall we had a great break though,The weather was fantastic, hot and sunny everyday.

The hotel is nice, but it was out of the way and not very central. Plus Geneva is sooo expensive anyway. The front desk was friendly and you do get a free bus ticket which is nice but internet was very expensive and didn't connect most of the time, and they were not too helpful with their "free" shuttle. I wouldn't stay here again.

First off....not sure how other Swiss hotels are classified, but in my opinion this was not a 4 star (based on previous travels). With previous experience of Novotels and Ibis etc. classed as 3 or even 2 stars, then this hotel would be on a par with them.
Having said that, the staff were pleasant and the rooms airy and clean (although a double room turned into a twin on arrival).
Transfers from and to the airport very handy and efficient. As is the locality. The No. 8 bus stops 100m down the road and gets you into town in a blink of an eye. (Free with the available travel card!!!).
Drinks in the bar overpriced and a lack of a decent meal means you have to go out for lunch/dinner. In short a good base for a short stay but would suggest looking around for more cost effective stays.

This hotel is clean, tidy, decent sized rooms. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located, although not the most glamorous part of Geneva but its a short walk into the centre. Also very close to main train/bus station. Pick up from airport was excellent and saves both time and money. Would stay again if I was ever returning to Geneva.
Is this 4 Stars?
