We stayed in this Hotel last week for three nights. I think some of the reviews above are for a different hotel. There is another Hotel Beaugrenelle quite close that does not seem to be as nice as this hotel. This other hotel is Hotel Beaugrenelle Tour Eiffell. But this hotel, Hotel Beaugrenelle St Charles on 82 Rue St Charles, is lovely.
It is a budget hotel you are not going to find luxury but it is clean, tidy and all the staff were so nice. Yes the rooms are tiny but you really dont spend much time in them, you are in Paris after all. And the Metro station is just accross the street so you are in the ideal place to explore the whole city.
We stayed on the 6th Floor with a beautuful little balcony that more than made up for the small room.
The breakfast is probably not worth ?11 per person, its just coffee, pastries and toast. You are probably better to go to one of the many little cafe's surrounding the hotel.
But overall its the perfect little hotel for a few days in Paris.

Ok, to be fair, the price was very good, since it is hard to beat 85 Euros per night in the centre of Paris not far from the Eiffeltower. However, if you are looking for a romantic gateaway, you will be sorely dissappointed. In addition and under any circumnstances, AVOID a room next to the elevator! Not only will you hear the rumbling sound of the elevator going up and down, but you will also hear the voices of the prople coming back late at night from an evening out in Paris. My advice, look for alternatives.

Location great - hotel not so great

Location of this hotel is great - opposite supermarket, many restaurants, the metro less than 100yards away and the Eiffel Tower about 20 mins walk... But the hotel...
The rooms are tiny and the walls are paper thin. To make matters worse, it was too hot in the room at night to sleep, but they would not turn the air conditioning on because it was still Winter - 18th April!
You couldn't keep the window open at night because of the city noise and the non-smoking room also stunk of smoke.
On our last day the maid just unlocked the door and walked in - no knocking.
This is a great location but the only real issue I can see is the noise. We were on the 5th floor and the heavy doors slamming and the paper thin walls don't make for a pleasant night.
Hôtel très agréable

Accueil sympa, personnel attentif et accueillant. Les chambres sont calmes, en plein Paris, ce n'est pas mal ! Et en plus, il est facile d'accès.

This hotel is very good value for money. Clean and good rooms and a great location. You can walk to the eiffel tower in 20 mins and there
is the metro station almost opposite to the hotel. There is a supermarket opposite to the hotel and an excellent bakery with tasty baguettes and any type of croissants next to the hotel. Recommended.
