The hotel has a very disappointing front door, but once you pass it everything changes. It is all very modern and fashion, with nice curtains, light bulbs, candles and stylish sofas… The rooms are small but comfortable, and the bar is very nice and friendly. The breakfast and the buffet restaurant are poor (I didn’t tried the “a la carte” restaurant, which looks nice) but nevertheless the global appreciation is very positive. Price/quality ratio is positive indeed… Also the location is very good, just in front of a nice garden to walk by, and relatively close to the metro, which is outstanding!!!

Hotel Taburiente had a nice location. Parking available. Were very accommodating to us because our stay got shortened because of weather in the US. I emailed ahead of time and they did not charge me but were appreciative of the advanced notice. A clean place, average bed, decent breakfast. Very close to park and downtown pedestrian streets and shopping. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Excelente situación y hotel muy acogedor

Me he alojado en dos ocasiones en este hotel a lo largo de este año, un aspecto muy a tener en cuenta es que hay un ala del hotel que está totalmente reformada en las que las habitaciones son estupendas, con todo el mobiliario muy bonito y moderno. En cambio, hay otra ala del hotel en el que en las habitaciones lo único reformado es el baño completo (con lo que está muy bien) pero las habitaciones tienen mobiliario y camas muy antiguas. De resto el hotel es un hotel económico pero muy recomendable, con una localización magnífica justo al lado del parque García Sanabria (una de las zonas más bonitas de Santa Cruz), y con unos salones muy cómodos en la amplia zona de recepción donde poder sentarse a descansar, leer el periódico, o navegar con tu pórtatil si dispones de él ya que hay una wifi gratuita en la zona de recepción.
