Hotel Congreso is around 7km from the town centre. We were glad to have a car, but others in the hotel did manage with taxis at around 8eu per trip. Booked through gta hotels who have always come up trumps! At £25 per room per night with hot and cold "american" breakfast, attentive but unobtrusive staff and fastidiously clean spacious rooms (all with internet access) this hotel probably deserves more than3* official rating. The location actually proved to be perfect for touring having convenient access to some great roads. The hotel offers its own restaurant and there are several excellent local bars just minutes away. Try it!

This is not a 3 Star Hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but the building is old and the lobby very smelly. The rooms are big and they look renovated, but the bathrooms are dated and the beds are very uncomfortable. The hotel is about 10 minutes (5 km) from the city. I think I would never come here again. You can find better hotels IN the city at the same price.
