A great hotel clean, bright and modern right in the heart of Murcia! Lovely to find restaurants, tapas bars and shops all around us. Underground carpark just 2 minutes walk away...20euro for 24 hours stay, Quiet room at the back Good breakfast and helpful staff. A great Spanish city break from our golf villa holiday!

This hotel is a great find. The rooms are very bright and spacious and extremely well equipped for a 3 star hotel (they even have a pillow menu!). The location is great, with lots of places to eat in the immediate vicinity. Murcia itself is a pleasant place with a very non-touristy feel. Everything was extremely good value and we found the people to be extremely friendly. The only negative is parking which is a nightmare!

I have visited Murcia many times but have never stayed at a hotel in the city, so I know the layout of the city well and was keen to stay in a central location. The Zenit was excellent, almost equidistant between the bus & railway stations and only a short walk from the Cathedral square.
Almost adjacent to the hotel is Plaza de Flores and Plaza Santa Catalina, both of which have excellent tapas bars. Behind the hotel is Las Veronicas fresh food market and the river Segura.
The hotel is modern and clean. The staff were efficient although I wouldn't go as far as to say they were friendly. My room (a single) was small but fine for 2 nights stay. The hotel also seemed very warm and so the a/c was needed, even though the outside temperature was only about 18degrees (a fairly unusual occurrence for Murcia in May).
I didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on that, but checking in & out was easy and overall I had a nice stay.

Found this hotel from reading the reviews and was more than delighted to pick it, perfect location for exploring the old town of Murica, only 5 mins from the main Cathedral square. The hotel is surrounded by small streets with numerous bars offering tapas dishes, I would recommend anywhere around Plaza des Flores for a great choice of dishes. The hotel also offers a very decent meal which we had on our last day. Another advantage is hotel is 10 min walk to the main bus station which can be used to reach Cartegena in the south or any of the main airports. Hotel was spotlessly clean and as we had a room at the back with no view mind you but it was extremely quiet which was perfect for us.

We missed our flight to Malaga and had to fly into Murcia instead, therefore were looking for accomodation for the one night - we chose the Zenit, after seeing good reviews on trip adviser.
Well we weren't dissapointed, lovely dark wood flooring, matching curtains and wallpaper, lovely creamy bathroom which looks quite newly decorated, with a bidet. The bath and shower were great also.
TV, minibar etc. The staff are very friendly, didnt eat here as we ate out in the town, but all in all can't fault this hotel.
Would definately recommend.
Quite often you can find a gripe to be had in most hotels, but not here!
