We arrived in hotel a little worse for wear as my partner had been robbed in Sans (Barcelona Train Station, rife with pick pockets, be aware!). The staff were so friendly and helpful, Taxi's from Mataro train station are 8 euro's to hotel, and Mataro is beautiful location,not touristic. The hotel is lovely,Spanish atmosphere, peaceful, the food was excellent in restaurant (well above average) .The tavanae open late at night. The hotel is spotless,rooms very clean,maid came in everyday. I f you want a hotel to get away from it all.this is the place. My partner and I cannot stress enough how helpful,sympathetic the staff were to us, couldn't do enough for us because of our terrible start to holiday.It was lovely to relax next to pool, immaculate gardens and we left saying we would definately return to hotel again.We highly recommend this hotel if you want relaxing,get away from hussle and bussle.

A little known gem of a hotel and great value for money. The staff are friendly, helpful and always willing to assist. The hotel itself has a delightful,tasteful ambience. Rooms are clean, quiet and well-equipped. The food (dinner menu changes every night and offers suberb value) is really something to write home about. In fact, some of the best, least pretentious and authentically-cooked I have ever eaten. Would highly recommend this hotel for a quiet, good-value break for the discerning traveller.
