Stayed here for 2 nights and found the hotel to be very clean, comfortable and staff at front desk friendly and helpful when asked for assistance. Stayed on the 5th floor at the front, there are no views to speak of, you can just see the sea, but had a small balcony. Breakfast in the morning was in the cafe next door on the saturday and in one of the hotel rooms on the sunday, again perfectly adequate rather than spectacular. Bathroom and bedroom fittings were old but clean, plenty of hot water, towels etc. Location is very central, took us about 10 -15 mins to get to the seafront, level walking. Great value for money, but don't expect luxury, or views of any kind.

Enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Leuka. Reception and all other staff friendly including Bar staff next door, where breakfast is served. Older style hotel with basic en-suite room with small fridge and safe (small additional cost), quite large room with twin beds although we asked for a double bed (matrimoniale). Room cleaned and towels changed daily with soap and shampoo provided. Breakfast adequate in the Cafe next door. Room cold on arrival - hotel put on air conditioning which made room quite warm. Hotel located in side street with no real traffic noise even at the front. Hotel approx, 15- 20 minutes from seafront and old town. 10 minutes from Rail and Bus stations and 5 - 10 from open and enclosed markets. Generally a good located base for seeing Alicante and for travelling to surrounding towns. Overall good value - don't expect 5 star treatment for 3 star prices. We would go back - hotel seemed as good as the description for other hotels costing twice the price.
