We are a locally owned hotel located in the Heart of the Klondyke, Dawson City. We have fifty-nine beautifully renovated hotel rooms, twenty-five of which are located in the Annex which has a courtyard with a Jacuzzi. Ok.....but a little hot in summer....few rooms with air conditioning so ask...a fan does not cut it....hotel restaraunt (Jack London Grill) food was expensive and based on my experience with 2 other people in my group for dinner it was not good. However it does have a basic motorcycle wash area.

We just stayed here overnight, as we were on our way to a camping trip up the Dempster Highway. The rooms were comfortable and perfectly clean. Everything worked fine. Since it was off-season, it seemed to be pretty much one guy handling everything. Since there were only a few people in the place, it was easy for the guy to do that. Our only complaint was that they were out of "toes" for their signature drink, the sour-toe cocktail!!

The Downtown Hotel was a great place to stay. The staff were very friendly and became part of our vacation. The hotel itself had a great old-time feel to it. The atmosphere in the bar was amazing and the food in the dining room was above par. We will always recommend staying at the Downtown Hotel and will continue to stay there ourselves.
