My son and I stayed at the Clearwaters Hotel for a Boys State Basketball Tournament. When we arrived, the first thing that was notice was that our window was a piece of pink styrofoam. Due to the fact that all hotels in the area were booked due to the Tournament, there were no other rooms to be found. We stayed in in the room but voiced our opinion before leaving that we felt some credit should be received. The desk clerk laughed at me and advised there were no other rooms and the hotel was simply trying to fit as many people as possible in the room. If I had any complaits, they should be directed to the hotel Manager. I did email the hotel Manager and did get a response that the one night would be refunded and the window was only broke a few days prior to our arrival and a window was on order. The hotel did not want to turn any teams away due to the lack of rooms in the area. This hotel is under new Management so problems that need to be solved may not occur immediately, but I feel the Management was very helpful in solving my situation. The hotel and rooms were very nice, clean and roomy for the price we paid. I would stay again if visiting the Clearwaters Hotel. We did find that some of the rooms had refrigerators and Microwaves and others did not. You need to request these items if they are important to you. Just a sidenote, this hotel is NOT a Best Western. I was told that when I voiced my complaint.
