8 months prior to our stay at this hotel we booked a king bed suite with bunk beds as we were traveling with our several small children.
Upon check in, we were given the key to a room which contained a single king bed.
We called the front desk, and were told that they did not have any more of that room available, despite our reservation of 8 months standing. Someone had extended their stay and apparently that takes precedence over existing reservations.
They offered us a $30 discount and a room with 2 double beds. Being that it was 11pm and our 4 children had not slept since 6am that morning, it was our only option and we took it.
The only other thing to note was that the bathroom was not clean. There was a roll of toilet paper just laying on the floor in the bathroom and there was a hair adhering to the toilet seat.
Again, we were too tired to make an issue of this - but if we ever stay here again it will be with plenty of caution. Beware making reservations online; I would do it in person - and even then, they don't really guarantee you getting the room you booked.

I stayed at the Frontier Suites and was very pleased with my stay there. The service was very friendly, the room was quite reasonable and very clean. The full kitchen was great to have with Juneau's costly dining options. I will return to beautiful Juneau as my Daughter has made it her home and I will certainly stay at the Frontier Suites again.

I stayed at both the Travelodge and Best Western and decided to stay at the Frontier Suites on my fourth visit to Juneau, Alaska. What a difference. Large rooms. Full Kitchens. And a staff that cares. Highly recommended ...

We had a coupon to stay here through my national organization. We were treated rudely and most of what were promised never came to fruition. This hotel is a long distance from downtown which also necessitates transportation. We were originally told we could take the complimentary shuttle. Upon arrival, we were told we couldn't. We learned the city bus system in a hurry! I would recommend looking at other hotels and only stay here if desperate.

Moved here from Colorado while my house was on sale. I was stationed here in Juneau with the Coast Guard. I needed a large one bedroom suite. The hotel manager was very accomodating and presented a well established service attitude. The employees are very friendly and took the time to get to know each person that walked through their doors. Its hard to find this type of hospitality in the Juneau area. I spent many days in the lobby and was greeted each time. Thank you to the staff at the Frontier Suites Hotel. They exceeded my expectations...
