We wanted to stay one night in Eugene, but had our two dogs with us. We found this motel via the web. I neglected to read the reviews on here before I went. Big mistake. On the upside, there are very cute topiaries at the entrance. That's about as good as it gets.
At first, I thought that we got a raw deal due to the dogs, but looks like no one has had a good room here. We were give a "King Suite" that allows dogs. It was a non-smoking room. Funny thing was that the bedspread had more cigarette holes in it than I've ever seen. I'm surprised that thing hadn't caught on fire.
The room was tiny. The bathroom was even smaller. The room just had a dirty feel to it. I didn't want to sit down anywhere. The carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a long time. Don't get me started on the bathroom. I opted to not take a shower in the morning. Seeing hair that wasn't mine was revolting.
The cost was $100. According to the website, they had a "pet package". Not sure what they entailed as there was nothing pet related to our room. Actually, I think that our room was more suited for the dogs than for the humans. At least their muddy paws didn't make the room any dirtier!

Pulling in to the Driveway of the Americas Best Best Value inn, I thought "Yes, I can stay here, looks okay, decent landscaping.". So I proceeded to go to check-in, and I found that they didn't even have a key for the room i was scheduled to stay in. Then off to the luxurious room in was. Ha, far from it. I first walked into the room, and was instantly greeted by the magnificent aroma, that one might find while near a homeless person. But it just so happens, that there actually is a homeless shelter, not 500 feet from the room. After passing through the wonderful smelling air, I was then taken by surprise, by just how beautiful it was inside. The Orange paint was like looking at a a fresh pile of vomit. I then was on the search for the bathroom, what I first thought was the closet, I soon realized was actually the bathroom, slightly larger than one that could be found on an airplane. After squeezing through and traversing over the bed that was blocking the whole bathroom entrance, i found that there was a delightful smell found lingering in it. After, coming out with a fresh urine smell, I laid down on the bed, only to get my big toe caught in the large blue stained shank-looking whole in the comforter. I flipped on the inadequate lighting fixtures, and pulled back the sheets to climb in them for a nice nap, and observed that they had a nice schmorgusboard of colors, and textures. As I lay there, with all the comforting things rubbing against my skin, I realized that I could hear traffic whizzing by. It just so happened that I got the room with the roadside view. This roadside view also included a nice view of a large billboard which had a homeless women on it.
On a positive note, I got a view of the 20 square feet of the only landscaping in the place.

My husband and I stayed here for one night on our way down to Ashland OR. It was the only place we could find that had a room available for under $100 a night. Since it was just a place to sleep in we figured it woud be okay.
The room was one of their suites, since it was the only non-smoking room left. They obviously don't enforce the non-smoking rule since the room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. I also highly doubt the buliding follows proper regulations as the stairs are uneven and they have no railing.
As other people have mentioned, the room was dingy and the bed was uncomfortable. I could feel the individual springs poking up through the mattress. The blankets were dirty looking and the office closed right after we arrived so there was no way to exchange them. I spent the night shivering under a thin sheet as a consequence.
I have stayed in some really budget hotels before in India and Europe, and while some of those may have been just as dingy, I certainly wasn't paying $80 a night for them either.

It was one of the worst motel I stayed at. Our non smoking room smells of smoke. The room feels dirty and very dusty. Air condition turned on and off. It is right next to a heavily travels three lane street, so it is very noisy. This place needs to be updated. Staff are OK, but avoid this place if you can.

I had initially booked the hotel throught the hotel website. I searched through Orbitz , Travelocity, etc. to find it then decided to use the hotel website because I thought it would be cheaper.
Upon arrival, the lady at the counter told me she had not received our confirmation until that morning. She asked me about how I booked the rooms and I told her that I booked it throught the website. She told me next time to use Orbitz or whatever because of the complications.
We finally got to our rooms and it was dingy. Our beds were lumpy, the pillows were barely there, sheets had stains, the towels were very small and not absorbant, the paint was horrible and our view was of a trashpile. Supposedly these were the nicer rooms!
One good thing was the continental breakfast. It was fine with coffee, OJ, milk, cereal, muffins, and toast.
I don't think I will stay there again.
