Friendly staff greeted us when we checked in. She had a booklet on restaurants in Moab ready, plus a map of their property that had a city map on the back, with the eating establishments labeled!!! Room was clean, well stocked with kitchenette, table and 2 chairs, plus bed and nice bathroom. Air conditioner worked well too! Overall a very nice place to stay for a night or many.

This was my families first trip to Moab. My partner and I brought our two kids ages 7 and 5 for a couple days of adventure and hiking.
Since this was our first trip to Moab and I had read that it gets pretty warm there we opted to book a room instead of camp. The Red Stone Inn offered the most reasonable rates and looked decent from the pictures posted on the internet.
I called them a couple of times before we arrived (paranoia about the reservations mostly) and the staff was very warm, friendly and professional.
Upon first impression we felt like our room was small, but it was very clean and cozy. Each room has a kitchenette so we brought our own food to save on the cost of this vacation. It was wonderful to be able to prepare our own meals in our room. The kitchenette had a microwave, coffee maker, refridgerator and sink. The Red Stone Inn was close enough to Arches that we were able to come back to our room and prepare lunch and dinner rather than pack it with us. And then we still had time to go back and hike.
We had such a great time and there is so much to do and see in Moab. We will definitly stay at the Red Stone Inn on all of our future visits.

We stayed six nights in the Red Stone Inn and enjoyed our stay. The front desk people were very helpful concerning a couple of out of the ordinary requests we had. The price is certainly right as is the location. The motel is about a block from the Center Market, the only super market in town, it is next to a gas station/convenience store, and across the street from a great breakfast place. The Big Horn Lodge across the street has the same owner so you can use the small pool there. The Red Stone has a hot tub, which we didn't try. As others have said, the main draw back is that the rooms are on the small side and rather dark. But then you will probably be out of the room most of the time hiking at Arches National Park or riding your mountain bike.

On our way down to the Grand Canyon, we decided to stay a night in Moab, simply to cut the drive to two reasonable days. There's certainly no shortage of cheap places to stay in Moab, a town that caters to young adventurers. We checked out the major chains (La Quinta, Holiday Inn, etc.) and all of them were $100+ a night. My wife found the Red Stone Inn for about $50 a night! Quite a bargain!
The room was very basic - a bed, a bathroom, a small table and a small TV, but for what we needed it was fine. It had high speed internet, albeit wired (alas - what a spoiled internet user I've become).
The room was clean and comfortable - I'd recommend this place to others staying in Moab for any type of adventure! Certainly, you'd probably find a nicer and bigger room at a national chain, but for this price, you really can't beat it.
