Friendly hotel in the countryside, although far from Frascati, (further than 2km!) we found the shuttle transfer easy and convienient. When we did attempt to get the public bus it never seemed to turn up when we expected, it turned out the hotel had e-mailed me an old timetable that we had been relying on. So they gave us an updated one but said the bus would arrive 10 mins after the time stated, so we set out a few mins early - and the bus went flying past. the buses did not go 10 mins later at all.
Another confusion was the airport transfer- on the website it stated 15Euros, on our booking confirmation it said 20Euro, and when I asked them to clarify the price thay said 45Euro! I booked it but soon cancelled when we got there as we discovered it was very near, in the end it cost 1Euro to get the public bus to Frascati (too early for the hotel free shuttle), 1Euro for the train to the airport, and 1Euro to get a shuttle from Ciampino train station to the airport.
The standard room was what you would expect for a 2 star hotel. clean and comfortable. The family atmosphere, cats and surroundings made this a pleasant stay and a pleasure to return to after a long day sightseeing in Rome.

Stayed one night on our way to southern Italy. Some problems to find the hotel but once there you can't imagine you are so close to Rome. Basic room but clean and ok. Very helpful staff the breakfast was surprisingly good. If you wan't a close location to Rome but out of the traffic this is the perfect place to stay. Also there is a free shuttle to Frascati and Ciampino airport.

We stayed here before catching our flight back. We booked this because they offered a family room so we could have our 2 kids in with us. We had a hire car and I guess it took us about 20 mins to get to the airport because we had to stop and ask the way a couple of times as there was a diversion and the signs petered out.
The hotel prepared a take away breakfast as we had to leave early. It was clean and comfortable, quiet, the staff were very friendly, but the rooms could do with redecoration.

A nice little place a few miles from Frascati.
Positives - good customer service, free shuttle service to town, set in pleasant gardens.
Negatives - pretty basic
The only problem with this hotel was that the website indicates that they will pick you up from Frascati when you arrive.
This is not the case, the shuttle only picks up at certain times. Therefore there was some stress when we arrived in Frascati, made worse by our very basic Italian (which is a common British traveller problem)
We eventually took a taxi to the hotel.
Make use of the scheduled shuttle service and enjoy Frascati - a vibrant little town. Recommend Restaurant 19, a busy but nice Pizzeria off the main piazza - cheap local wine, good quality.

The staff here are certainly helpful but if you're taking public transport here, then you better not arrive late. The last train from Rome's centre is before 10pm. Due to an earlier delay, we only got as far as Ciampio train station but the hotel was extremely good and picked us up from there.
The bigger problem is the proximity to Ciampino airport. It's not all that close. We thought this would be an ideal place to stay - BUT - getting to the airport before 9am meant taking a taxi. The Frascati train station is not that nearby and the trains aren't running that often to Ciampion from there. So we had to take a cab the hotel arranged for us. It cost us €45 so we would have been better off staying in the centre of Rome instead.
The hotel itself is very homely. It's very simple but it's not expensive so you get what you pay for in that respect. Just don't rely on this as a handy way to stay over night close to the airport the night before you travel unless your flight is between 12pm and 8pm and then perhaps its an option.
