My wife and I stayed for 3 nights during our trip to Tuscany.We got the number 3 bus from the train station which left us across the road from the hotel. It is a modern clean hotel with A/C which was essential during our stay. Sara and co at the desk were welcoming and very helpful. Our room was spotless and more than adequate with Mini-bar, sat TV and a comfortable bed. Great value for Italy! I would agree with other reviews regarding the breakfast, great choice and friendly staff. The hotel is outside the city walls and so you will make good use of the frequent , cheap buses. Bus tickets are sold in the hotel as well as many other shops. The number 54 bus will get you up to the centre of Siena. Buses stop around 8.30 so you can walk up the hill to Porta San Marco it takes about 15 minutes or get a taxi. Enjoy! Ciao!

Small Hotel, 28 rooms, very clean. Rooms were a little small but not by European standards. Hotel is across the street from the shuttle bus stop for the walled city of Siena. Breakfast was better than most. We had omlettes as part of the included breakfast. We had a rental car and parking was free. Hotel driveway is a little tough to find. It is right off the traffic circle. Very quick turn. Very reasonable! Nice peole on the desk and at the breakfast station.

Hotel San Marco seems almost new!! It is clean, has good parking and the breakfast is great. There is a restaurant right next door and the bus up to the centre is 100 metre walk across from the hotel. We recommend this Hotel and would stay here again.
