The hotel is located off a main road so our room was quiet. We arrived early and left our luggage at the hotel whilst we went to the Trevi Fountain (15 mins walk away) until our room was ready. Staff were very helpful. They booked a night bus tour and airport taxi for us. Room was clean. Breakfast nice. Colosseum is 20 mins walk away. Good restaurants around. Self service laundry 8 mins walk away. Not too bad. Stayed 3 nights.

This place was soulless! I stayed at another place the other nights (Marta gusethouse - fantastic!) as I had only booked the initial night till I got over jetlag. It is central - but - that area between the Spanish steps and the main rail station Termini - is awful! Very busy with traffic, tourists and noisy. I was travelling alone, and found it a lonely place to stay. There were a few middle aged travellers and very quiet. My room was a single bed in a narrow space with a not very functional bathroom. the view of grimy old wall from room ws not nice at all. The street leading along to the Spanish steps was narrow, dingy and noisy. You can stay elsewhere that is a lot nicer for less I am sure!

Situated in an excellent location, very central. Staff is friendly and helpful and rooms are of a reasonable size and clean. Comfortable bed. Would recommend the hotel but it has some disadvantages. Breakfast is very limited and we were a bit shocked unitl we got used to it. The room was a bit warm and we had to sleep with the window open since it was not possible to set the AC to a cooler temperature. The hotel advertises a 24 hour reception but in fact it closes during the early morning hours (although this did not affect us).

Trust me. Spend the money to stay somewhere else. The man at the front desk could NOT have been more horrible to me. When I told him I lost my confirmation email he looked at me with such disgust that I almost left the hotel. The rooms are tiny and dirty, the bathroom is unkept, the beds are hard. I would have gladly paid 50 more Euro to be treated with respect. Do NOT stay here.
