Good service for a small hotel.
The room is quite big. Few English channels.
Hard to find. We almost got lost. The hotel is not even in the list of the taxi driver's hotel directory.
There's a flea market outside. You can buy cheap lunch and dinner (and delicious ice coffee).
Free hotel ride at 3pm to city centre. Taxi is around 100bt from here to city centre (one way).
Near a small mall.

Great hotel ,massive room, wish we stayed longer than 1 night. Didnt get a free ride to airport but got taxi on street which was much cheaper than in hotel. Long way from anywhere if you plan on seeing Bangkok
Not a great area

Rooms are very large and nice, but very smelly. The feeling that we had is that this place has had better days when Don Muang was the only airport in the city. It seems to be forgotten now.
Staff not friendly. Breakfast was okay, but more oriented towards Asians.
Short ride to the old airport. (Take a metered cab, the hotel charges 4 times more to take you there).
Conclusion, this is a place just to spend a night before catching an early flight out of Don Muang. Otherwise, stay somewhere else.

I booked this hotel for a stopover in Bangkok on our way to Phuket. I didn't pay attention, and assumed "airport" meant it was near the new airport in Bangkok. This is not the case. It cost around 400 baht to take a taxi from the new airport to this hotel. The cab driver had a little trouble finding it. The hotel does have a free shuttle, but it only runs a few times a day, and when we arrived around 11pm, it had already stopped running. The room was large, but run down. The staff was nice, but the whole thing was a bit of a fiasco for me. I would have gladly paid more for a hotel that was actually near the "airport".

This was an excellent "stop over" option and their breakfasts was above expectations.
We decided to take a British Airways flight to have the stop over instead of taking the QF flight. We made it to Phuket in a better state and only an hour later.
The hotel rooms were good and we were able to get a decent night's sleep after an 8 hour flight from Australia, before getting a domestic flight the next day. The service on the domestic flight was great too.
The hotel was really close to the airport and efficient transfers were all part of the service.
I'd recommend this hotel to you. I'll be going back there next time.
