I had a 4 night stay with my partner at the Lordos Beach and was completely satisfied with the Hotel. From reading previous reviews I was surprised at how good the hotel was, loaction was great, staff friendly and accomodating and overall a good stay and experience. Check in was immediate, and entertainment within the hotel in the evenings was also quite good and not your usual karaoke/cheesy benidorm crap. We upgraded our room to a minisuite which cost an extra 20 Euro pp per night and was totally worth it for a larger room, the split level decking area patio (which was a sun trap in the afternoon) and the hot tub was a nice touch, yes even in the sun! Minibar was the most resonably cost I have come across, breakfast was a great deal and consisted of huge variety or cooked, cold and healthy choices. The Gym area was great, basic but good equipment, indoor pool was clean and enjoyable, as were the steam room and sauna areas. I will definately be staying here again when I visit Larnaca.
Good restaurants locally included a Japanese called Sukura, on opposite side of street, great fresh sushi tasty meats, with real Japanese chefs. Another place was slightly furtherr down near to the Palm beach hotel, a mexican place called Azteca's again, great meat and drinks selection ans a very tasty and traditional meal. Great value.
The ride to Larnaca main town is about 5-10 mins, 10 Euro's in taxi or local bus runs outside hotel every 30 mins and cos about 1.8 euro, fine journey and stops where you like.
Overall impressed and as mentioned will be back!
Please feel free to ask any questions if you have any!

After reading an earlier review we have to admit that we were a little worried as to what we might be letting ourselves in for - oh how wrong can you get.
We have just returned from a very relaxing 2 weeks at the Lordos, despite arriving a little before midnight we were greeted with a friendly smile and a very smooth and efficient check in.
After a very comfortable night despite having single beds (that was our only niggle - but we soon sorted that!) we were able to take in the view which did have the sea view that we requested and as we were on the 3rd floor it was an excellent view.
We had been advised via our Travel Agent by Libra (the company we chose to holiday with) that there was building work going on along side the hotel, luckily we were on the other side. However, the work went on and we really don't think many people were put off by it, the builders had put up what can only be described a 'modesty screens' above the hotel trellis work already there and carried on, noise just seemed to blend in with what else was going on i.e. kiddies shouting, splashing, fun boats revving their engines, general chatter by the pools so the work was easy to ignore.
The room, bathroom and bedding was very clean, towels changed every day – no problem. The hotel staff were all very nice, if you take the time to chat to them they happily chat back. The breakfast consisted of an excellent choice, the Poseidon Beach Bar served various delights from a toasted sandwich to kebabs ideal for lunch and being able to eat outside made it all the more enjoyable. We did take some meals in the Oceanis Restaurant in the hotel but found a very nice place on the opposite side of the road.
The hotel had a ‘wine tasting’ session – if you get the chance go, it’s a good way to try out Cyprus wines and if you enjoy them they are available in the hotel.
Evening entertainment varied from a guy playing music to a magician and also some Greek dancing - all very entertaining, and if you didn't want to sit in the bar you could always sit outside on the patio area.
We didn’t bother with a car as we were happy to travel on the local bus, this was 1.20euro each way to Larnaca and ran every 30 mins even into early evening.
