Great place to stay in Kyiv
According to our travel advisor at the Chamber of Commerce this was the best hotel in Kiev, lacking that Soviet-style decoration and claustrophobic atmosphere that seems to prevail everywhere else regardless of stars attached. I do not know if that bit is 100% truth because I have not stayed on those other dark and communist-deco places what I know is this hotel is a real 5 star. Nice breakfast, nice rooms, good location, excellent fitness center... worth the money you are paying for. I am not very much for the casino and the 8th floor “cabaret” which I think give a kind of dodgy eastern mafia-style to the place but I guess that is part of the landscape and probably some of the hotels guests spend loose change and time on those lubricous places

This is my 3rd stay at the hotel and I must say this is the best hotel in Eastern Europe and especially in former USSR countries.
The service is impeccable, the accommodations are great and well maintained ! The staff is friendly and helpful. I even had a chance to talk to top management and they were very accommodating ! If you stay here, there will be no surprises ! You don’t need anything else, the restaurants the spa, the casino ! Everything in one place . I am a professional traveler who spends 2 months or more in hotels and this is a perfect place for vacation or business! Cant wait to go back!

Most memorable thing for me is just how rude the staff of this hotel are. They have a butler service which I remember laughing at reading about as perhaps if all the other staff made more of an effort they would not need this and they have lots and lots of staff I must have counted at least 8 in loby area! could any one get you a taxi ...no. Checking out is a very lengthy procedure plus I just thought it fabulous that when you questioned or made a point of having a problem with something suddenly they did not understand english very well. Food was good and room clean. Decor very dated.

The Premiere Palace may be the nicest hotel in Kiev. The staff are friendly and helpful, the lobby and common areas are nicely done, and the location, in the center, close to all attractions and shopping is hard to beat. If you are a fan of western chain hotels, this may not be the place for you, as it seems designed to cater more to the "high-roller" mentality, than the foreign tourist, with its in-house strip club and casino, but, of course, you don't have to partake of those "amenities." Reminded me a little of a throwback to earlier post-Soviet days. As in most of Eastern Europe, smoking is prevalent in the lobby and public areas, but non-smoking rooms are available.
Agree with some others, that if you are on the company's dime, this is probably your best bet. On your own money, there are probably better deals to be had, but it is a nice hotel.

Top of the line for Ukraine. Nice rooms (non-smoking available), fairly quiet, reasonable space, quality amenities. Average TV/video selection. Very pricey laundry service. Above average breakfast buffet at nearly $30 US. Smoking pervasive in lobby and lounges. Lobby bar runs out of beer and tells patrons "it's finished". Cabernet show. Convenient location to Kreshatik boulevard shops, restaurants, bars (Shato and Violas) and METRO. Impressive pool/spa/gym/sauna. Parking problematic with clogged streets. Room Internet access (wired) and business center. Friendly, helpful, English-speaking staff.
