The Hotel is beautiful with modern, well appointed bedrooms.
All the staff are friendly and offer a very good service particularly around the pool area.
My problem is ,however, the sterile atmosphere around the place.
This was into the height of the season and the Hotel was far from busy.
The public rooms, bars, restaurants etc look wonderful but for most of the time, they are deserted particularly in the evenings.
I found that of the four Dining options, only the poolside restaurant drew much attention, the remainder were hardly patronised at all.
The result was total lack of ambience in the evenings.
I acknowledge there are moves afoot to alter the image of tourism on the Island and this is one of the new development of 5 star hotels available but it has to "sell" it self in order to make staying there a much more enjoyable experience.Particularly as Santa Eulalia is not the most attractive of resorts in terms of restaurants/bars/cafes with the exception of Liquido in the Marina.
If all you are looking for in a holiday on Ibiza is a lovely poolside after your excellent breakfast and nothing else, then the Fenicia fits the Bill (and your Bill doesn't come cheap!!).

Just stayed a weekend at this hotel. Its a large newly built hotel on the east side of the island in a small village by a canal and 5 mins to the beach.
The hotel is lovely although seems to be aimed at business travellers, but lots of glass, marble, quality fixtures and fittings and nice landscaped gardens.
Large rooms, large bathrooms, again all quality, rooms could not be faulted.
Its not a hotel for children but seemed to be mainly couples or the odd group.
Food was great if expensive, E15 for burger round the pool etc, brekfast enormous fresh buffet very nice.
Staff very friendly and professional. Did not try out the spa.
The only con I found was the distance to anywhere else on the island, north south, airport, ibiza town, clubs or beaches all seemd to be a E30 cab ride. The village nearby as quite english, downmarket bars and restaurants serving fish & chips etc
But in summary a lovely hotel, quality, pricey but worth it. Just a distance if you want to get anywhere.

much as i despair at the island becoming more and more concrete jungle, a la costa del sol, i would have you know..that should you require somewhere comfortable (ie warm and dry) to stay in the Ibiza winter season.. this is probably the place
we love the spa
this place is not 'beautiful', and really lacks any of the true ibiza spirit
but its luxury (at the luxury price) and an alternative offering when most of the charming spots like es cucons, can domo, jardins de palerm etc are closed for winter
please please please ibiza.. do NOT build any more on this lovely island you have..either that or we'll stick to asia/brazil going forward..
