Coming in at night, the area seemed a little dodgy so we were grateful to find a car park just about a block away from the hotel. While the accommodations weren't wonderful they were adequate althought the bathroom could have used a little additional attention (I didn't take a shower because the curtain was so stained) but that may have just been luck of the draw. On the up side, this hotel has a great little bar overlooking the bridge and the staff are fantastic. We left some cheese in the mini refrigerator that we had purchased at the Alkmaar cheese market and didn't realise it until we had gotten home the next day. We called the hotel. and were told that the cheese had been found and was being kept in the refrigerator by the Manager. The hotel is shipping the cheese to us (of course we had to pay shipping costs) but they were more than accommodating. Regarding the location, it looks alot better in day light and it happens to be right next to the harbor cruise line departure and ticket shop (which, as far as we could tell is one of the only things to do in Rotterdam - although this is a great location to take a side trip to Kinderdijk from).

very good hotel, staff was ok i expected the procedure of payment to be a little bit more better but everything turned out to be fine in the end. would deffinately stay here again!

L'hotel est assez bien situé pour les vacanciers sans moyen de locomotion car il est desservi par une ligne de tramway et il se situe a proximité du centre ville, cependant si vous voulez aller à la gare a pied avec vos bagages il faut etre assez courageux mais ces faisable! Le petit déjeuné est trés complet et trés bon, le restaurant n'est pas trés grand mais de bonne qualité à un prix raisonnable, les points noirs sont que les chambres sont non fumeurs... les portes des chambres sont trés bruyantes et les lits ne sont pas bien faits (pas de draps, juste 2 couettes limite du sac de couchage) et enfin certaines chambres on peut être une magnifique vue mais d'autres on une vue affreuse qui donne sur des batiments derrière l'hotel. Malgrès tout bon souvenir général!!!

La habitación me pareció un poco pequeña pero tiene todo lo que necesitas, hay 4 canales de televisión en inglés, aire acondicionado/calefacción en la habitación y vistas al río y al puente de Erasmo. El desayuno es el típico desayuno holandés, con mucho pan, queso y jamón, pero normalmente está incluido en el precio de la habitación. El hotel está bien situado, cerca de una parada de tranvía y de una estación de metro así que realmente no hubo quejas. No es lujoso pero tiene todo lo básico y aunque mi habitación estaba un poco cargada, las habitaciones en general están bastante limpias.

I found my room to be a bit small, but it has everything you need, you have about 4 english channels on the TV, aircon/heating in the room and a view of the river/erasmus bridge. The breakfast is typical dutch fare, lots of bread, cheese and ham but it comes included in with your room usually. The hotel's in a good location, near a tram stop and a metro station so no complaints really. It's not luxury but it has all the basics and although my room was stuffy, the rooms are in general are quite clean.
