The decor alone deserves 5 stars

The decor is very funky in very interesting colors and the designs are unique and pleasing to the eyes. The statues are interesting and there are gorgeous flowers outside.
As you go up the stairs, the lights turn on their own. Very nice.
Even the rooms' ceilings are interesting to look at, as is everything else. The beds in the rooms we had were very comfortable and the housekeeping was good.
There isn't much to watch on TV though. Very few channels, not much of interest.
...
But everything else really really doesn't deserve that high a rating.
Oftentimes, we would call and ask for things and they would never arrive.
The food in the morning is infested with insects, almost everything is uncovered, and ants march in and out of the bowls.
Appetizing.
The only things that seemed to be mostly safe were the cerals and possibly the milk.
I could have milk and cereal at home and be comforted by the fact that I know it's clean.
The employees even come up and eat from the food! I'm thinking they don't get much to eat themselves?
There is Wi-Fi in one sitting area, which is also nicely furnished.
The hotel's best point, however, is being close to a lot of interesting places. This is the ideal hotel if you just want a place to sleep in and rest up between going and checking out different places in the surrounding areas.
If you go here, you better like insects and are planning on eating outside. If you have that out of the way, a pleasant enough stay awaits!

After a week searching for the adresses of our riads in the various cities of Morocco, this hotel was quite a relief. Easy to find, beautiful design, excellent food. We were very happy to stay here on our last night before flying back. the room was wonderful. Great service. Good value for money.

We arrived at night after a long and exhausting trip and a very long and expensive taxi ride from the airport (about 500dirham). It took the guy at the door very long to realize that it would be a good idea to carry the girl's suitcases at least to the hall. After checking in the same guy went ahead, with no suitcases, and showed us a suite giving us the feeling that it was ours. Only later this night we came to realize that this was the far more expensive choice of room in this hotel. After changing rooms twice we finally got our apartment which seemed nice, it even had a nice open fire place.
Waking up in the morning was a pleasure. Due to the leveled layout of the apartment, the bed was on a higher level, we could overlook the ocean. Of course the first thing we wanted to do was to go to Casablanca to see the old Medina etc. but getting there turned out to be a big problem. The hotel is situated about 20km south of Casablanca on the way to El Haddida and it seemed the only way to get to the city was to rent one of the Receptionists "Cousins" tourist vans. Since we were a group this was ok for us but if you are travelling alone or with your partner it is not very convenient...To get back to the hotel we usually took taxis, if we wanted to separate from the group which cost us about 150-200dirham. If you visit this hotel in summertime and you dont care about visiting the city i am sure this hotel is not such a bad choice, it has a nice pool on the roof and a very nice garden. Also the rooms seem very nice. The kitchen in the apartment is very well equipped the bathrooms though are veeery small and uncomfortable.
Concerning the personal and the service i have a lot of complaints. It happened quite often that we called the reception for something and NEVER got it. Such as wood for the fireplace or a price list for the laundry...doesnt seem very hard to accomplish this. The receptionist also told us that here is no wireless internet in the hotel until finally we found out that there is a router in the restaurant for the guests to use. Every single time we ordered something in the restaurant we got wrong dishes, even though we had people in the group that spoke French, Spanish,...
There is nothing included in the price you pay for a room in this hotel, such as indoor swimming pool or sauna (quite expensive), which i think is not normal for a five star hotel. \
Overall:
The hotel is nice but has really bad service and is located too far away from the city. Additional services are too expensive.

I'm surprised to hear such poor reviews of this hotel. I have lived in Morocco for several years and stayed at many hotels all over the place and this is one of my favorites! Jack Beach is also one of my favorite beachs. It certainly is not touristy, and is a bit out in the rural area, but most of Morocco is rural and it's a great way to see the real Morocco while also staying in a very nice hotel.
I was first introduced to the hotel when my husband and I went to have 'breakfast' during Ramadan last year with a friend visiting from Europe. The meal was really lovely (a large variety of authentic Moroccan food-even my Moroccan husband who usually hates the quality o fMoroccan food in restaurants thought the food was great) and the staff very friendly. Also, the dining room was superbly decorated with gorgeous gardens right next door.
When my parents came to visit us a few months later, I chose this hotel to stay at. Their room was superbly decorated and comfortable--very modern. The staff wasn't particularly helpful this time, but we also didn't really need their help with anything. We also have a car, which made it quite easy to get back and forth between the city (the drive is really lovely!) Also, the restaurant was disappointing. They had a large tour group that they were serving buffet style Moroccan food, but said we were not allowed to eat there (only French food at the other restuarant). The service was extremely slow and bad and the food sub-standard. I would definately recommend insisting on eating the Moroccan food there. Otherwise, though, my parents really enjoyed the gardens, the close access to the beach (more locals than tourists, but I personally find that more interesting), and the beautiful room. I would definately stay here again, although perhaps eat at the cafe a few meters away where they serve great fried fish and salad on the terrace overlooking the ocean.
