Tel Sheva National Park
Tel Sheva National Park is the place where archaeologists uncovered layers of a settelment that was populated as far as 10th century BC. The most impressive layer is the one pertaining to the period of the Kings of Judea.
Hanegev Palmach Brigade Memorial
The unique memorial was designed by internationally acclaimed sculptor Dani Karavan. The memorial memorialized the conquest of Be'er-Sheva and operations of the Negev Brigade, which held the besieged Negev.
Araf El Araf House
Araf El Araf (1892-1973) was a historian and businessman that served as the city's governor in the 1930's. The house is built from special stone brought from Jerusalem, which makes it different from the other city buildings.
The Turkish Bridge
The railroad bridge crosses the Be'er-Sheva stream at its widest section- 190 meters. At this section of the stream the flow disspates at floods and as a result does not endanger the bridge.
Aljama, The Large Mosque- Archaeological Museum
At the enterence to the Old City stands one of the city's original buildings, built in 1906. It is warmly recommended to take notice of the rare architectonit details decorating the mosque's exterior.
Turkish Train Station
Erected by the Turks in 1915. The railroad from Damascus via Jerusalem to Egypt was laid during World War 1 to assist the Turks in the conquest of Egypt. Be'er-Sheva served as one of the main stations.
Water Tower
Originaly, the tower provided water to the steam engines of the trains entering the Train Station. After the closing of the station the tower provided water to the jewish residents who settled in the city.
The British War Memorial Cemetery.
Memorial of the 1239 soliders that fell in battels against the Turks during World War 1 (1914-1919).
Allenby Park
One of the first public parks in Israel. When the city was taken by the British, a monument was erected in the middle of the park in honor of General Allenby (1891-1936), who commanded the British attack on Palestine.
Smilansky Street
Located in the Old City, nearby the Youth Arts Center, the street was recently restored and converted into a pedestrian walkway, acting as one of the city's tourism focal points. The street, enclosed by structures from the Turkish Period.
Ben-Gurion University of the Negev
The university was established in 1969 with the aim to bring development to the Negev, a desert area comprising more than sixty percent of the country. The University was inspired by the vision of Israel's first prime minister,David Ben-Gurion.
The Bedouin Market
The market was established in 1905 as a weekly market fair, where gold, original jewerly and other authentic items were sold of Nahalot blankets spread on the ground. Today the market has colorful and bustling stands. Opens on Thursdays only.
Abraham's Well
A recreation of the well where Abraham apperantly watered his herds.This well is the largest shallowest and most abundant with underground water than any other of the hundreds of wells found in the vicinity of Be'er Sheva.

Located in the heart of the Lahav Forest, the Center is a unique combination of museum, research institute and Visitors Center. This is a unique and one of its kind museum in Israel and the world.

The Negev Museum- Governor's House
Built in 1906, the house served as the residence and office of the city's governor. After the foundation of the state of Israel it served as Be'er- Sheva Municipalicy building for many years. Today it is the home of the Negev Museum of Arts.
