We found this hotel disappointing for a four star. While we had no complaints about the staff, the room did not match up to expectations. When booking, we had requested a king sized bed and were notifed that the room type we had booked had garden views and a balcony. Upon arrival in the room it transpired that the bed was in fact two singles pushed together, there was no balcony, and although the view was of a garden, this was a neighbour's! The bathroom was also below our expectations, consisting of an old shower unit with dirty doors and a sink and bidet from which the plugs had been removed. While perhaps not dirty, the worn nature of the bathroom in general didn't make it feel clean. On the plus side, the breakfast provided a nice variety, and the staff were helpful when asked for information.

Wir fanden das Hotel für ein 4-Sterne-Haus sehr enttäuschend. Wir können nichts Negatives über das Personal sagen, aber die Zimmer haben die Erwartungen bei weitem nicht erfüllt. Bei der Buchung fragten wir nach einem großen Doppelbett. In der Bestätigung stand dann, dass wir ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den Garten und mit einem Balkon gebucht haben. Als wir ins Zimmer kamen merkten wir recht schnell, dass es sich bei dem großen Doppelbett um zwei zusammengeschobene Einzelbetten handelt. Es gab auch keinen Balkon, aber eine Aussicht auf den Garten – aber auf den des Nachbargrundstückes! Das Bad entsprach auch nicht unseren Erwartungen. Es hatte eine alte Duschkabine mit dreckigem Türen und im Waschbecken und dem Bidet fehlen die Stöpsel. Es war zwar nicht dreckig, aber insgesamt machte das Bad einen abgenutzten und nicht sauberen Eindruck. Zu loben ist das Frühstück, das recht üppig war und das Personal war auch hilfsbereit, wenn man es mal etwas gefragt hat.

Abbiamo trovato quest'albergo molto deludente per un quattro stelle. Non avevamo niente di cui lamentarci per quanto riguardava il personale, ma la camera non era all'altezza delle nostre aspettative. Quando abbiamo fatto le prenotazioni abbiamo richiesto un letto "king size", e ci hanno informato che il tipo di camera che avevamo prenotato aveva una vista sul giardino ed un balcone. Al nostro arrivo, abbiamo scoperto che il letto era in realtà due letti singoli messi insieme, non c'era balcone, e benché la camera avesse una vista sul giardino, il giardino era quello dei vicini! Anche il bagno era al di sotto delle nostre aspettative, composto d'una vecchia doccia con porte sporche, un lavandino ed un bidet dai quali erano stati tolti i tappi. Benché probabilmente non fosse sporco, il bagno era così malandato che dava l'impressione di esserlo. Quanto ai lati positivi, la colazione offriva una buona varietà, e il personale si mostrava disponibile quando chiedevamo informazioni.

Take your ear plugs as the railway line is less than 200 metres from the front of the hotel! This is a town located hotel not somewhere you would choose to chill but very good for a base if you are out seeing the sights. However, it is a perfect location for town - just pop down the path leading through the garden and you open the gate into the pedestrian area of the town. Rooms were average, staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a buffet with the usual selection of breads, meats and juices and fresh coffees and tea available on request. On our last morning breakfast was still being set up at 0730 when service starts so we did not get a full selection or our daily cappucinnos! Overall, it served a purpose for our type of holiday but would not go back there because of the noise from the railway line - the first night I thought the 0138 to Ancona was coming in through our window! Air conditioning not working the first night as Reception have to switch it on.

Nehmt eure Ohropax mit, denn die Bahnlinie ist weniger als 200 Meter vom Eingang des Hotels entfernt! Dies ist ein in der Stadt gelegenes Hotel, das man nicht aussuchen würde, um zu entspannen, aber als Ausgangspunkt, wenn man die Sehenswürdigkeiten anschauen will. Wie auch immer, es hat eine perfekte Lage für die Stadt - nur schnell den Weg runtergehen, der durch den Garten führt und man öffnet das Tor zur Fußgängerzone der Stadt hin. Die Zimmer waren durchschnittlich, die Angestellten hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Frühstück war ein Büfett mit der üblichen Auswahl an Brot, Wurst und Säften und frischer Kaffee und Tee auf Anfrage. An unserem letzten Morgen wurde das Frühstück immer noch um 7:30Uhr begonnen, und so bekamen wir nicht die volle Auswahl an unseren täglichen Cappuccinos! Alles in allem diente es dem Zweck für unsere Art von Urlaub, aber ich würde wegen des Lärms von der Bahnlinie nicht wieder dorthin zurückkehren - in der ersten Nacht dachte ich, der Zug um 1:38 Uhr nach Ancona würde durch unser Fenster kommen! Die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht in der ersten Nacht, da der Empfang sie erst anschalten muss.
