I loved this hotel. Not at all difficult to find as some reviewers have claimed. Location is fantastic, right on the square and all amenities are easy to walk to.
Rooms were very big, clean and have an excellent view of the square. Some reviewers claim that the noise of the clock tower kept them awake however I didn't take any notice of this.
Hotel staff were very good also. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to return myself soon.

Not recommended, not up to the five star class it holds: breakfast basic or even bad, service at breakfast really unprofessional. And shower at the room was barely usable since there was no support for the hose on the wall, and the water leaked directly to the floor. I am sure there are better options in Prague costing probably less (we paid almost 300 euros per night for the family suite).

The OTSH has two major things going for it: It?s perfect location and the huge, massive-walled rooms. Those two things alone are worth the 100 ? I paid (which, though, seems to be a very low-season special).
However, after that many things are a bit disappointing. I don?t know who came up with installing sets of awful 90s-style interior design into rooms from the 17th century, but whoever it was - he totally ruined the flair such rooms could possibly have. I?m not saying that combining old and new is bad, but the way it?s done in the OTSH is so tasteless, soulless, colorblind, that it spoils much of the enjoyment you get from staying in a room that in it?s spaciousness doesn?t follow modern hotel rules. It feels as if the hotel owner had found a pile of designer stuff at a bargain price somewhere and just made do with it, no matter what. The result is just plain ugly.
Secondly, the OTSH is not really a hotel, it?s more an upscale B&B. There is no real lobby, no room service, the staff seems to consist of 1-2 people plus a cleaning woman. No-one will help you with the luggage. Breakfast is served in a downstairs bar that?s open to the public. There are no amenities like free newspapers or a toothbrush. And like in many places in Prague, you have the small rip-offs. The reception has a coffee maker, but will charge you 2,20 ? for a coffee. The breakfast has you scratching jam out of these little one-portion packages like in a youth hostel. There are no eggs included in the breakfast - unless you pay about 5 ? extra. All this just doesn?t suit the 5 stars the OTSH decorates itself with at the entrance. Finally, yes, it?s loud - but I guess that?s alright if you choose to stay in the very heart of disneylandic Prague.
And again, the location is perfect.
