We have stayed at many hotels in Germany - this has to be one of the best especially the location. We ( my daughter & I) took the U-bahn from the airport with 4 large pieces of luggage -someone told us The Schlicker was right there .It was!!! The room was clean & neat. We were in a front room & there was a little noise but I love to look onto the street & watch the people coming & going. The breakfast was in a LARGE room with a great selection - all were delicious!! We would walk & shop - then drop items off at our room & continue our sight seeing. The location made our stay extra special. The staff was very friendly. We asked for some tape to fix a ripped luggage & the girl was so kind & helpful & found tape for us.The first night the gentleman at the desk got me ice but the next 2 nights the staff could not leave their desk. I understood. The ice was just a bonus in Europe. We can always put our cokes on the windowsill in the winter. Can not wait to go back!!!

Situación excelente, justo al lado de todos los sitios de interés. Las habitaciones son muy bonitas, pero muy pequeñas. Además, estuvimos en la segunda planta, en la parte delantera, así que por la noche, con las ventanas abiertas, entraba bastante ruido. El hotel está justo entre un McDonald’s y un Burger King y siempre hay mucha gente fuera comiendo. Si hace calor no queda más remedio que abrir las ventanas, porque no tiene aire acondicionado. Sin embargo, la habitación estaba muy limpia, la limpiaban todos los días, y el desayuno era excelente. Recomendaría este hotel, pero si pensáis acostaros pronto, tendréis que soportar un poco de ruido si abrís las ventanas.

This hotel is perfect for a short break right in the middle of Munich. Situated 50m from the Tal exit of Marienplatz which has excellent S-Bahn connections to the airport. Very clean throughout, staff very friendly, excellent breakfast and room very comfortable and quiet (we were at the back). Near to all main attractions, bars and restaurants (excellent Indian - turn right from hotel exit then first right and its 20m away). Would recommend this place highly.

My heart sank at the entrance: the hotel is sandwiched between a McDonalds and a Burger King and it looks as if all the rooms overlook the noisy street (especially saturday night), but wait.... once inside there are pleasant quiet rooms at the back and an excellent breakfast. Nice shower room and friendly service. My only complaint was the bedding seemed to be polysterene sheets and a massive quilted duvet, so it was either too hot or too cold!

Dieses Hotel ist für einen Kurzausflug mitten in München perfekt. Es ist 50 m vom Marienplatz entfernt und die S-Bahn Verbindung zum Flughafen ist super. Überall sehr sauber, die Angestellten sind freundlich, das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, das Zimmer sehr komfortabel und ruhig - unser Zimmer ging nach hinten hinaus. In Nähe aller Sehenswürdigkeiten, Bars und Restaurants (recht vom Hotelausgang biegen Sie die erste Straße rechts ab und dann finden Sie nach 20 m einen ausgezeichneten Inder). Ich kann dieses Hotel nur sehr empfehlen.
