Small hotel, decent rooms, nice bathrooms. We were there in the summer heat and the air condition wasn't super powerful, but adequate. The breakfast spread is pretty good and the front desk was very helpful and courteous. The elevator "lift" is old and small...sometimes its quicker to just walk upstairs

We are a family of 4 (kids 13&11). We stayed 3 nights at the Hotel Hiberia in a standard quad room and found it to be a great value. The hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly and the location is unbeatable! Our room was basic but very clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was average. Our only disappointment was in learning they did not have a rooftop terrace. The terrace is only accessible if you book that particular room. We were able to walk everywhere within a few minutes. The farthest walk to the Vatican was still not a bad walk. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay there again.

This is a very good hotel, clean, centrally located with good breakfast. Piazza Venezzia is 5-10 minutes walk (down-hill); bus station for both direction, to Termini and Pza Venezzia, are within couple of minutes walk from hotel.
Standard double room is quite small, shower box too.
The noise from the street is constant, but bearable since the hotel is close to Via Nazionale. When the window is closed, it was O.K. We didnt have any problems with air conditioning, it worked perfectly. The Elevator looked old but it worked fine.
Hiberia is good choise for exploring Rome, if you get a good deal for price, it is not worthed more than 120 euro for small double room.
