We arrived and checkin, when we got to our room, it was not a double as booked, but a twin. Then looking around the room, it was dirty, shabby and the worst Hotel room I have ever seen. Hole in the wall, furniture only fit for a bonfire, no fire escape, only air conditioning was open window.
It was so bad, we left immidiatley and found another hotel, if we had not been able to find another hotel, then a night on the streets would have been better!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Pass this one by. I would not leave my dog here.
My partner had booked another hotel, and when we arrived we were told it was changed to The Mirific. So we got bumped into here. First impression is OK, nice reception, and only 50m from Metro. Then we saw the room! Old, decrepit, small. They could not even find me two glasses to use for a drink!
Shower room should be bombed. We complained and told the place was full, we could move but at our expense.
Then we found out how close the Metro was, as each train passed under us.
Then how thin the walls were, very thin.
Oh the air con did not work.
Get down early for breakfast, or you will miss it, and if you do, dont expect them to get you any more croissants! Coffee was good, there is one good point.
And take your won towels, as i always do. Theres are so small you need to be age 6 or under to get dry using them.
Oh and finally the flood. Water dripping down the stairwell for a good few hours, even after we told them, TWICE!.
France, great, Paris great, shame about the surly staff who moan if you want a cup (how the hell do you expect me to drink a coffee then) this hotel.......................NEVER again. Be warned.

We stayed for two nights at this hotel while we went on an organised walking tour of Paris. It is not in a central location but is well served by buses and the Metro is only a 100 metres away [Brouchet]. It is in a very cosmopolitan area and has many shops, supermarkets and restaurants in the same road. ATM machines are everywhere. The hotel is small with no bar but has a small lounge. The receptionists were helpful and quick. The room was fine forsuch a short stay and had TV { only french stations} and a telephone, the bathroom seemed to have been recently refitted and had a reasonable size bath with shower facilities. The water never got cold and there was also a hairdryer. The room was cleaned everyday to a high standard also towels were changed on both days. The weather was v cold but the hotel/rooms were well heated. Breakfast was "continental" buffet with boiled eggs and ham for those who did not want all sweet things. The coffee was rather good. All in all a decent sleeping place with no frills.
On a slightly different topic my wife had her purse stolen on the Metro, so be warned!.
