My husband and I had a 3 night stay in July. Our only regret is that it wasn't much longer. We have stayed in a wide variety of accommodation over the last 4 months, and this hotel was amongst the best. Friendly and helpful staff become very important when you are away from home for a long time, and the staff here were excellent. I support all previous comments re charming decor, cleanliness, plentiful and varied breakfast, guest lounge and quirky little courtyard, great location near metro and major sights, and good nearby restaurants.
We treated ourselves to the suite on the top floor, with an enormous bathroom, but looking at the rooms the next price level down, it would appear they are equally as spacious, with standard size bathrooms.
I too would prefer doonas and bigger pillows.
We usually like to try different hotels on return visits, but when returning to Paris, will look no further than the La Tour Maubourg.

Having lived in Paris many years ago, I knew what location was going to suit my needs on this trip. I was traveling with my five year old daughter and wanted to be in an area close to the activities we had planned. We had 4 days to do the sights and attractions. I wanted to walk to some of the things as Paris is a beautiful city to stroll in and yet sometimes proximity to the Metro would be a benefit. The Hotel Latour De Maubourg is a charming hotel with a comfortable atmosphere. It's location is wonderful to access all the biggest and best attractions of Paris. A 2 block walk to the Eiffel Tower and a few minutes futurther to Trocodero. Another 10 minutes and your on the Champs Elysees.
Look left out the door of the hotel to Invalides. Even the bar next door was staffed with something unusual for Paris. Friendly staff.
My daughter had access across the street to a local playground to run off some 5 year old steam. All the staff at the hotel were very sweet with her and we had a great time. The Metro entrance is literally across the street.
My only negative comment would be that personally, I prefer duvets rather than blankets and the pillows were thin.

We have just returned from a wonderful trip made all the more special by the hotel. 27-29 June. Although I have visited Paris before this was my husbands first visit and we both loved every minute of our stay. The hotel gave us directions fron CDG airport via train (8 euros each way) very straightforward.
We were in room 1 which is on the ground level at the front of the building it is gorgeous and very spacious, the walls are quite thin though we could hear someone in the next room snoring! This was probably because there is a connecting door to the next room.Although there is no bath the shower is enourmous.
The staff were lovely nothing was too much trouble. Try Restaurant Pasco's booked for us by the hotel its just across the square the food is excellent.
Good breakfast and plenty of it,
If you plan to go up the Eiffle Tower it opens at 9am we got there at 8:45 and were in the second lift up expect to wait about 2hrs later in the day.
Can't wait to return

We spent 4 nights at La Tour Maubourg in Paris and would recommend this hotel. We arrived in Paris via Train at Gare Paris Lyon and decided to metro it to the hotel. Caught the metro to Madeleine and then transferred to La Tour Maubourg line. On exiting from the Metro we found the hotel was directly opposite - fantastic.
We booked a superior room which overlooked the courtyard. The room was a good size with king size bed and tastefully decorated. The only down side, if any, was you could hear people going up and down the stairs if there through the day, but being in Paris you don't spend a great deal of time in your room so it was no issue of a night.
The staff were great and very helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
