Room was nice and clean. The colors of the hotel are quite strange and bright, but that makes it only unique and more personal. Breakfast was good, and the breakfast room was never too crowded. The service at the hotel bar was very slow, and the only food the bar served were overpriced toast sandwiches. The surroundings of the hotel are not nice: mostly car repair shops and shady looking buildings. Subway is quite nearby, and the Port Olimpic and wonderful beaches are just 15 minute walk away.

A bit challenging to find once we left the underground, but v.glam when we found it. They had put us into a twin room when we had booked a double, and got moved to their only remaining double room suite on the top floor that was huge and had a large terrace - absolutely fabulous. Room Service was very expensive and not particularly great. The health spa was small with a poky sauna, minimal fitness equipment and the swimming pool a little too small for a proper swim, but there was no one in it and this was good fun. Staff lovely and very helpful.

Through a bizarre twist of fate, I ended up booked in this hotel on a business trip. I wasn't too excited, but thought that at least I would know what I was getting into. Well, I must say that not much changed since my last trip there and I would still not recommend this hotel to families traveling with children. The area does not feel safe at night and there still are very few dining options nearby. The meal in the hotel restaurant is not worth the cost. I was only at the hotel for 2 nights, which was fine as I really was only sleeping there.

The staff are very nice but the place is very grubby and old fashioned. The towels are like cardboard! The area is not nice, a bit industrial..... Would not stay there again. More like a 3 star.

Great Hotel, Very clean and tidy. we walked to the hotel from the centre on arrival and it took about an hour (did not realise there was a metro (marina) near). Bar shuts at 12.30 but a pub/club next right next door, looks rubbish but was ok and open till 3am. good for a break with the wife/girlfriend, just bring comfortable shoes. We walked for miles-but it was worth it. Reception could not do enough - they got us tickets for the Barcelona game and booked us in to a nice restaurant (4cats) probably the best reataurant in Barca, not cheap but food A1. Just dont get too drunk and fall over in reception because the lamp stands work out at ?200. as we found out! hello Marty and Babs. S & B.
