We arrived at the hotel and the girl sitting behind me exclaimed - 'Oh my God - your hotel looks lovely!' We have just had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Beatriz and want to tell everyone that you can book with confidence. Everywhere was really clean and well maintained. The fact that there are rooms on one side only makes the hotel feel really spacious, on the other side is a balcony which has trailing ivy planted in it and it hangs down one side of the hotel. It looks fantastic especially at night where it has been cleverly lit with fairy lights and strategic lamps, its a really nice place to be. The rooms are also really spacious and the balcony's are quite big but really private. The bathrooms are a good size and the wardrobes are really big too - we were really comfortable here.
Restaurant was excellent - breakfast was a serve yourself buffet and drinks were included. Evening meal was also a serve yourself buffet and drinks were not included (not even water!) which was a bit of a niggle for us, but for both sessions you could eat as much as you wanted. The food was good quality and each night had a theme ie chinese, italian etc generous salad buffet, fruit bar, rolls, hot food and deserts. There were lots of waiting staff who were good at taking drinks orders and clearing up the tables.
Evening entertainment was included every night which was something we were not expecting and some of the acts were very good. You did miss out a bit if you were English as the place is definately aimed at the Spanish and as English you are the minority but this was the only time you felt it. We joined in on quizzes and they went through it in English, Spanish, German and everyone was included. The early part of the evening was a disco for the kids, then the adults got up and danced and it was brilliant to watch, certificates from the days activities were handed out before the main act started. The whole time, waiting staff were bringing out drinks to your table.
The pool was huge - it was never crowded because it was a bit too cold. There were lots of activities and the animation team were very good. They didn't overpower you if you didn't want to be involved and there was plenty of space to get away if you wanted to. The pool didn't open until 10am and you were not allowed to reserve your sunbeds but there were plenty to go around.
If you go there you must go to the Spa. It is reasonably priced and again really spacious and luxurious, a great pamper is the sort of thing that really makes your holiday.
We've never been to Lanzarote but we loved the breeze as it would have been far too hot without it. The Island was really pretty and we found a small town near the hotel which was really good to walk into and everyone was really friendly. We werent sure about this when we booked it and just thought we had a fairly cheap week - but in fact this has been one of our best holidays and one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in - book it you'll love it!

we have justed returned from a week at the beatriz hotel ,it was great. The food was plentey and something for everybody. The hotel complex was great lots to do and all keepted very clean. Our room was on the top floor whiched over looked the pool which was wonderfull in the day and night. We walked to the beach every day its only takes about 15 mins ,Teguise is a wonderful place this is the 4th time we have been to this resort the first time at this hotel .We had a wonderful holiday in a great hotel where all the staff make you fill very at home.

I have just returned from a great week at the Beatriz Costa & Spa. The room was lovely, and cleaned well every day. The maid left gifts of chocolates and towels made into swans etc and and as I was on the 5th floor and away from the lifts and entertainment areas it was very peaceful.
The pool area is large and did not ever get too busy. There are activities going on throughout the day but nobody tries to force you to join in.
The location isn't perfect, but face it, you know that before you go! The shuttle bus into Costa Teguise works well although it only runs in the morning and afternoon.
The only slight disappointment was the food. Breakfast was great (no complaints there) but dinner slightly less so. The meat was always tough. However, there was a large selection available, so I always managed to find something acceptable.
All in all, a very nice hotel and a lovely week's holiday.

We had a lovely time at the hotelBeatriz. All the staff were excellent, especially the animation team ,who made you feel really welcome to join in with all of the activities.Thanks Ellis !There is plenty to keep you busy around the hotel for all age groups. The food was excellent, breakfast and dinner were very varied, served hot and presented well.We enjoyed the holiday very much, spacious rooms over looking the pool and gardens spotlessly clean so a good time had by all.
