after looking at many hotels in milan,+ also after reading a review from 4 girls from cheshire we finally decided on this one, 3 of us were in milan to watch our team liverpool play internazionale,we booked a triple room,which was brilliant,loads of room,2 seperate rooms with a connecting hallway,massive bathroom,but what really struck us about the vime pasteur was the cleanliness of the hotel,absolutely spotless,well done to all the staff...also it is less than 2 mins walk to the nearest metro {pasteur}great bar just by the sign by the way!!also only 4 stops {i think}to the doumo...one tip if you travel into milan from malpensa take the express train 11 euro compared to 70 in a taxi, cheaper + quicker...on the way back have a few beers by cordona station some brilliant bars there,finally if you do have a beer by the doumo give a place called the SI bar a miss,went there after the match, cost us13 euro for a beer,when just round the corner the doumo bar charges 6 euro!!!!p.s. if the 4 girls from cheshire ever read this,thanks girls,brilliant hotel..oh by the way the san siro was immense,we won!!!!

Our stay didn't start well when our flight was cancelled on the Monday afternoon, meaning that we would not make it to Italy for the 1st night of our 2-night stay. We had booked the VIME Pasteur for 2 nights for GBP 400, and we phoned and asked if we could cancel one night. Unsurprisingly, they said no, we had to pay GBP 200 for the missed night, even though the airline had cancelled our flight and we found out later they were full that night - why turn away a guaranteed GBP 200 in order to give yourself the hassle of finding someone else to pay that money? It wasn't so much that they refused to refund our money, and it wasn't also that they didn't really seem to care or show any empathy with us that our travel plans had basically been ruined, it was really the fact that they were very rude on the phone and then also to one of our group when we arrived. The hotel itself is fine as a budget option, but not worth anything close to GBP 200 per night for a bedroom with 3 single beds. I wouldn't even give this hotel 1 out of 10. Shocking.
