Hotel Pollera is in a great location, just steps away from Main Square. About a 5-10 minute walk away is the main bus and train stations. Across the street from the hotel is a famous theater in Krakow. Check in was quick. Our room was nice but the decor could use an uplift especially for the steep price we paid just for one night. Breakfast was ok, could have been better. On the day of departure we were able to store our luggage to continue sightseeing while we waited for our afternoon train. All in all if we return to Krakow we will explore other hotel options first for better pricing and if unsuccessful we will consider Hotel Pollera again.

The hotel is situated opposite the opera house just a short walk from the station and town square. It is one of the oldest hotels in Krakow and still has lots of original features such as the beautiful stained glass window on the large staircase. All the rooms have impressive white double doors, the first time you put the key in the lock you have a sense of anticipation about what you'll find inside. Unfortunately we were a little disappointed, the room was rather small and dull overlooking the back of the hotel with no view. However it was clean and the shower room was spotless. The small pot of fresh primula on the table was a nice touch as was the two bottles of water that were left each day.
Breakfast was the usual buffet of cold meats, cereal, salad, cheeses and bread. Everything was fresh and quickly replenished.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful, they nearly all spoke good English.
I would certainly recomend this hotel to anyone visiting Krakow on a short break but it might be worth paying extra for a superior room.

This hotel is in city centre. A brilliant location, 1 minute walk to the square where you will find alot of the tourist attractions. We stayed here before and did not hesitate in going back.
Nice rooms, tidied daily, and bathrooms are spotless. I am fussy when it comes to hotels and cleanliness..I had NO grumbles with this hotel. It is well worth the ?50 or so per room per night we paid. It is not 5 star but it ticked all the boxes and would use again if in Krakow.

We stayed for a 2 night stay at the Pollera and have absolutely no complaints, the rooms were great, breakfast was more than adequate, the staff were helpful and very pleasant. We had arranged through the hotel to be collected by taxi to and from the airport this was an excellant service and good value for money. Pollera is a lovely old building within less than 5 minutes walk from the main square. I would recommend this hotel and intend to use it again.
