We stayed two nights as part of a trip to Legoland and found this hotel by chance on the internet. Whilst it is basic it does what it sets out to achieve to give you somewhere clean, neat and complete to stay at a good price.
It is right next to the airport, a few minutes walk and you are there, yet it isn't noisy.
The rooms were comfortable, with an excellent wet room. There are no extras like tea or coffee making facilities or mini bar but I rarely use these anyway, just a bed and a tv, all you need really after a day in Legoland.
Breakfast is extra, 59dkk, but is all you can eat, so you can stock up ready for the Legoland trip. There is no restaurant so you have to go to the airport or into Billund if you want meals. Billund isn't very big but we had a lovely eat all you can cavery meal at La Famille Cafe & Bistro in Legoland Village, just across the road from Legoland itself.
We walked to Legoland from the hotel which took about 20-30 mins but there are buses throughout the day that run from the airport to Legoland/Billund if you didn't want to walk. There is no parking at the hotel you have to use the airport car parks, but my advice would be to walk or use the bus. We walked both to and from Legoland and whilst we were weary coming back after a day in Legoland it isn't too far.
It is an ideal base for a Legoland trip at a very good price.

This hotel is great.
It is a budget hotel so no minbar, phone or trouser press but we had a great bed, flat screen TV and wetroom.
This hotel has no parking - it said it did on the website which is why we booked it but you actually have to park at the airport and then go and see the little office man for a hotel discount (of about 50p) It is RIGHT by the airport which is supposedly the 2nd biggest in denmark but we had hardly any airport noise.
Very close to legoland about a 5 min drive (or less) and A LOT cheaper than hotel legoland.
The room and staff were great but no where to eat and not much in and around billund either. We managed to find one restaurant (outside of legoland)
Great and very clean!

Booked this hotel for a 2 day stay. Boy what a waste. Absolutely nothing here. The rooms are very basic. No tea or coffee facilties in the room. You can get a cup of tea or coffee, in the foyer for 10DK. You can get a small beer from the drinks machine for 20DK. Haven't seen any sandwichs here.
Oh you do get a TV, but no car parking which is a pain, cause your cheap hotel room soon mounts up when you have to pay an extra 70DK for parking in the airport. 60DK for breakfast. Hope you don't like to much coffee.

Most importantly for an airport hotel it was quiet. Decoration was basic and clean but had all you need for an airport stopover and within sight of the airport. I think there is a courtesy bus that is shared with Legoland hotel but I arrived late and didn't want to stand in the snow waiting so I walked. Breakfast is basic (musuli, bread rolls, cheese, ham and yoghurt) and costs extra but not expensive compared to some hotels. Two downpoints
1) reception is not open 24hrs - they leave an envelope stuck to the front door with instructions on how to use the automated check-in machine to get in. After a late flight it's not exactly what you need but pretty easy to follow and instructions all in English.
2) I didn't specifiy if I wanted a smoking or non smoking room as I booked through an agent and my room definately smelt of smoke - as there was no receptionist that late I couldn't get moved
Overall it was comfortable, quiet and clean for a budget price. I would recommend it for a good nights sleep with no frills.
