Welcome to Hotel De Looier. Our hotel was originally built as a diamond factory in 1886 and was turned into a 3 star hotel in 2001. All rooms come with private showers and toilet, direct telephone and colour cable TV with free movies 24 hours per day. For our business guests we have fax, telex, courier service and much more. Our leisure guests can also enjoy their stay. De Looier is located right in the city centre of Amsterdam, in the popular area known as the Jordaan. The hotel is situated on a quiet street at only a 5 minute walk from the main entertainment area of Leidseplein, where you will find rock in roll out cafe, hundreds of restaurants, bars, discos, coffee shops, the casino and much more. The most important museums such as the Rijks, Van Gogh and the Museum of Modern Art are at a 5 minute walk. Anna Frank House is a 10 minute walk. Additional information: Children age 4 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children age 5-11 receive a 50 pct reduction. Children over this age will be considered an adult.
