The Hotel is located in the hills of South Eastern Murgia about 7km away from Martina Franca a town in a privileged position in the Valle d Itria. The town is well known all over Europe for its Baroque architecture and for the Trulli the rural buildings proclaimed by UNESCO as artistic patrimony of humanity. Alberobello; Locorotondo; Cisternino; Ostuni; Castel del Monte; Taranto as well as the most beautiful shores on the Adriatic and the Ionian seas can be easily reached within a few minutes drive. The resort consists of a central body formerly an ancient fortified farm which dates back to the XVII century restored in full respect of the original structure. A reception; lounge rooms and a restaurant in the trulli welcome our guests. The 49 rooms are placed as a court around the main building. The large rooms built in respect with the original architecture of the complex offer views over vast woods of ancient oaks and holm oaks. The main structure used to be a Manor house mansion of the Massaro; the farmkeeper with adjacent premises used for cattle and cheese stocking. The owner respectful of environment and original architecture and mindful of the care required by a true piece of art restored the ancient splendour of the Masseria as it was in past centuries together with the master stone cutters of the area. The Hotel offers an extremely relaxing stay thanks to the wonderful location in which it is immersed. Walking or biking through the oak wood which surrounds the resort enables our guests to experience the beautiful nature of the Apulian hills. In the immediate future a health and beauty center with sauna; hydromassage swimming pool; Kneipp runs and gym will delight our precious customers with new comfort. Additional information; Children under 3 years of age stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children age 3-12 receive a 30 pct reduction on the daily per person rate. Children over this age will be considered adult.
