What a fabulous property. We checked in on July 5 and left on the 6th. We were a little early but the desk staff called the floor staff and we were soon in our room. We had a lovely view of the ball field and a wonderfull view of the fireworks. The bed was almost too comfortable as well as the pillows. We have stayed there several times and it is one of my favorites. Its location next to the ball field and within walking distance of the verizon center and downtown make it a special place. If you are in Manchester, it is the place to stay

I am so surprised at the negative reviews. We travel frequently and usually stay at 5 star hotels (Ritz, Four Seasons, etc.). I was in DC driving up to NH and found this property on Trip Advisor. I decided to spend the night here.
This hotel is something special. From the moment you enter the door it is evident that they have thought of everything. My experience with the front desk staff and every other staff member was exceptional. I started my stay with a work out which is nicely equipped for a hotel like this. I left when it became over run with children who weren't suppose to be there. Their parent let them in and then left them unsupervised. I then called to order room service. I was told that the menu had recently changed and the gentleman offered to run a menu up which was there in literally two minutes. I ordered and the food arrived (again within just a few minutes) hot (burger) and chilled (salad). The food was excellent and the most reasonably priced room service I have experienced. ($8.00) for an angus burger with fries. Salad was only $6.00 and was entree sized.
When the room service gentleman arrived I apologized for my appearance and told him I had just worked out. He asked how it went and I mentioned great until the room had become over run with children. He quickly said that he would address this with the hotel manager and it would be resolved. He offered his apology for the inconvenience.
The rooms were clean, the linens and beds extremely comfortable. The bathroom was large, clean, and well appointed. There is a little shop in the lobby selling anything you could have forgotten, plus frozen dinners, ice cream, sandwiches, etc. (There are microwaves and small fridges in the rooms.) There is a laundry on site.
The wireless service is free. A nice change from DC where all hotels I stayed in charged $10.00 per day. Additionally, there is a secure way to print from your computer in your room to a central printer behind the front desk. You pick up your paper using a password. A very nice touch.
The hotel backs up to the baseball stadium and their Patio Restaurant allows you to view the game right from the terrace. You can eat while watching the game. A really option on a nice evening.
The Hilton has scored a home run with this one.

It's all about location, location, location. A dream to stay at a first-class hotel situated right on a ball field! Spectacular views, very good food, great staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Manchester, NH and it would serve as a model for other lodgings trying to pair up with a sports arena! All well-done and first class!
