decided to stay here during a trip to georgia. the place was beautiful and had a wonderful breakfast. the only downside was that the beds had a bunch of curly black hairs from someone else that were stuck in the blankets/sheets. I think it was due to the type of comforter material, it tended to grab and hold onto things. just don't use it. After talking to the front desk, they took care of the unhappiness, and were not rude about it. I would stay here again. its worth the beautiful pond, water fountain, and comfort of a beautiful hotel. Because it was such a nice experience we decided to stay at more hilton garden inns.

My daughter was going to have her wedding party at the hotel. Unfortunately, the wedding was cancelled, due to sickness. I have been trying to get help from the GM, Sales Agent, Hilton Customer Service and still no answers! The contracts I signed said I would be able to get a portion of my money back. The GM tells me I can't get anything back because my daughter signed some BOE contract. All I ask was for the GM to send me copies of where she had signed (which my daughter said she did not sign) and I would understand if the contract said I didn't get anything back, then that would be the end. However, the GM will not forward this to me. It has been almost a year, but I will continue to keep trying until maybe someone at some level with Hilton will want to hear what I have to say. Hilton customer service said they can't get involved because it is a contract between the hotel and myself. I think that is so unfair!! Hilton should not put their name on something if they can't get involved when the hotel doesn't respond or resolve an issue. I WILL KEEP TRYING UNTIL SOMEONE LISTENS...
Okay experience, can be cleaner....

There are many great places to stay in Columbus, GA. This hotel was fine. It had a pretty good breakfast (if you're an Hilton Honors gold/diamond member, it's free--but if not, it's $9.95 for continental breakfast). The location was pretty good-it's not downtown, but it is close to the interstate, a bit out of the way from the main drags, which is great for quiet stays. The hotel overlooks a pond, which is nice. My room was not cleaned as best that it could have been--my coffee maker did not get cleaned for 2 days in a row and there were several stains in the carpet. Room and bathroom were spacious enough. Front desk staff was ok--not exactly helpful. When I asked for a computer chord, I got hung up on. I think the girl misunderstood what I asked for. I would have liked wireless internet, but the business center was fine. Okay stay for short jaunts. Hilton Garden Inns tend to be pretty consistent, but I've stayed at a few better ones.

We stayed at the hilton for 2 nights while visiting family and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were very clean, the bathrooms were big. The t.v. was big, there were good movie selections. My only reservation is that there is no wireless internet unless you have an ethernet cord!

Ok, I had read the reviews, compared it to the Hampton Colombus and decided to try this hotel with my wife for a romantic getaway/business meeting on the weekend.
We both were SO pleasantly surprised.
It is a great hotel. We had a Junior Suite, which was bigger than some Junior Suites in Hilton hotels and so quiet and nice.
They have a great restaurant for in-room dining (Seasons on the Lake), pool, hot tub, even rooms with hot tubs.
It's the best Hilton Garden Inn we have stayed in - nice newer and not so generic, lots of finer touches.
