We just stayed at this hotel. We booked through Expedia and paid $75 a night. Our room was very nice with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The staff was very helpful. There were freshly baked cookies at the front desk. We did not eat at the hotel but the prices looked very reasonable. The hotel is near train tracks, but we never heard a train while we were sleeping. The pool was nice a warm. The location is very good, attached to UND, close to the Allerus Center, and a short drive to major shopping. Overall we were very pleased with our stay.

Upon check-in, we were given a non-smoking room different than what was reserved. No questions asked, we were given an upgrade to a smoking suite, free upgrade ! Talk about great customer service. The hotel staff was professional at all times. The suite was spotless as was the lobby and hallways. Beautiful hotel. You won't be disappointed. The hotel also has a coin operated laundry room. Grand Forks, a wonderful place to visit !!

staff was oblivious to any requests, regardless of the fact that i booked one of the most expensive rooms in the hotel. Food was bad hotel desk clerk more worried about what his girlfriend was doing than servicing guests.

I had a 4-day stay in this hotel booked for a business trip to Grand Forks AFB. Nothing stood out as extraordinary. The lobby was clean and the staff was courteous. I ate dinner at the hotel restaurant the first night. The food was decent. There isn't a lot of dining establishments in the area. For those you'll need to travel south on I-29 on exit.
My coworker who I traveled with complained about the train during the night; however, I did not hear anything. The hotel is situated within easy access of I-29, Demers Ave, and Gateway Dr so getting around town is not a problem.
Overall, my stay was what I have come to expect from the Hilton Garden Inn chain: Consistently Average.

We have stayed at this hotel September and December of this year. This is by far our favorite hotel in Grand Forks. I have been working in the hospitality business for year and I can say with out a doubt, this is the best Hilton Garden Inn I have ever stayed at.
A huge thank you to the staff.
Close to the University and restaurants. Easy freeway access.
Thank you for the continued upgrades.
