We had a wonderful nights sleep on the great bed! The staff was very professional when contacted for the reservation and answered all my questions. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and quickly sent up to our lovely room.
Our experience with Room Service that evening was very prompt and the order was correct. The server even added a couple items we had neglected to mention.
It was a very quiet and peaceful stay. Cannot understand previous review that complained of highway noise. AC was wonderful also. This hotel being new does not have the 'musty' feel that most along the coast have.
Overall it was a great experience and we will choose to stay at the Beaumont Hilton Garden again.

The Garden Inn is so new that is was not on the Hertz Neverlost in my rental car.
The property is new, very clean and overall, very comfortable. I like the availability of a hot breakfast. While I could hear some highway noise, it wasn't distracting. If that is a concern, try to book a room on the back of the hotel.
If you have to stay in Beaumont . . .

Than this is your hotel. It still has that new hotel smell and is very clean. Beds are great - the kind where you can adjust firmness. The fitness facility is adequate. There is nice restaurant. The location is adjacent to the freeway but that is where the hotels are in Beaumont. People are friendly. Rooms are fine with new TVs.

I am a HHonors Gold Member and typically love the Hilton Garden Inns. This location is very attractive. The rooms are quite comfortable and with all of the latest conveniences. The front desk and chefs in the restauarant are super friendly and the breakfast is delicious.
The hotel is right on 1-10 and the noise level is a bit much.
I just read the article in 10/19/07 USA Today about noise being the number one complaint for business travelers and it is unfortunate that when a hotel puts so much into the comfort of the guests that they cannot do something about sound proofing. The doors bang in the hallway and you can hear the a/c units humming ( from the outside) in the rooms. Perhaps someone will figure out how to curtail this for those of us who spend weeks on the road and while we love a comfy bed and fluffy pillows, we can't fall asleep when the noise is creeping into our rooms at all hours of the night! HELP!!!
FYI...If I were not in the need of sleep, this would be my first choice of the hotels in Beaumont. I have stayed at 3 others and none have the ambiance of the HIlton Garden Inn. It is lovely!!!

Pony up the extra money and stay at this property. The Hampton is right next door for a few dollars less, but the value per dollar spent is much higher at HGI. Beautiful pool, great rooms, an excellent gym, and a great location to restaurants and movies make this a no brain decision.
