You don't want to stay here on a weekend

The Hilton Garden Inn Frederick is the newest hotel on the block and very beautiful. The rooms and amenities are quite nice. However, the management of the hotel will give you a headache. I booked my wedding block there and came to find out they booked 3 more for the same weekend afterwards. They overbooked the hotel. They actually bumped me (the bride), the groom, and several of our wedding party. They gave out our guest bags to another wedding block staying there. The General Manager kept leaving the property so as not to have to deal with all of the angry guests. My brother tracked him down and made him comp our rooms, which he still charged our credit cards for afterwards. A month later, several guests have been receiving charges on their credit cards, with no receipts or bills provided to them. This hotel is a disaster. Do yourself a favor and stay at one of the many other Frederick hotels or B&Bs.

We stayed here for a night as we were attending a wedding in the area. We expected it to be nice as we had read TA's reviews and they were pretty good. It was even better than I expected.
The hotel is modern, clean and totally comfortable. The bed was a delight with white duvet covers that were as freshly washed as the sheets. This is the first time I have stayed at a hotel that I have not had to remove the bedspread from the bed.
Granite fixtures in the bathroom, good water pressure, flat screen TV and good AC made the room a pleasure. I couldn't believe we had paid about $110 a night for such a nice room!
Service was excellent. We needed to check in early to get ready for the wedding and they accommodated this with no problem.
Flawless performance, would definitely stay here again.

I was very pleased at how comfortable and attractive this hotel was, since my last travel experience was quite dismal. I actually live in the town, and found myself here due to a weather emergency which caused a power outage at home. This is a brand new hotel for our area. My new "neighbors" were very accommodating in giving me what we hoped would be a quiet room to finish a project on deadline. The lobby, with a 2 sided fireplace and gorgeous sitting area was impressive. The furniture is upgrade quality, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the staff was very gracious. There is even a LG flatscreen TV in the room! I wish I had the time to take advantage of the other amenities like the exercise room and the lounge, but they have a little shop where you can purchase snack items, incidentals, etc. The only downside of my stay was my neighbors...who had a domestic dispute at 1:30AM. I guess you have to deal with other people no matter where you go. The desk clerk did go up and break up the fight, and called me to follow up. Very, very nice. I will confidently put my visiting guests up in this hotel going forward.

I made reservations in December for a 6 week stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Frederick, beginning February 19. While the hotel staff were aware of the length of my stay, they didn't bother to consider my sanity when choosing my room. I was put right next to the public men's restroom on the first floor, which is frequented by those imbibing in the hotel lounge. Upon discovering the location of my room, I requested another room, but was told this would not be possible at this time. So, here I sit, listening to the toilet flush every 5-10 minutes. I could handle this if it were a one night stay, but 6 weeks? How did they ever think that this was acceptable?
Overall, the room is nice, excepting the noise pollution. The staff, however, could be much more considerate.
