Location pretty quiet as you would expect in this commerical district. Hotel staff very freindly and helpful. Kim the bartender makes you feel very welcome.
Hotel layout is ok but I felt the room decor was a little old and weathered.
Comfortable beds but aircon noisy and fridge in room can wake you up all through the night :-(.
Bathroom fitments old.
No in-room safe which you expect these days :-/

I stayed at the Garden Inn on a school trip and I have nothing bad to say about the hotel at all. The rooms were very clean and they had many ammenities in them like a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and a TV. The TV also has HBO and that was nice too. We ate both dinner and breakfast in the confrence room and the food was very good. During the breaksfast though they only had one pitcher of orange juice at each table and when it was finished the waiters took the pitcher away and never came back with a refilled pitcher. The A/C in the room worked fine and made the room very comfortable. The beds were also very comfortable and I sleeped very well. The bathroom was also very nice. My room was right across from the fitness center and even though I expected some noise from people coming in and out of it I heard nothing and I forgot it was even there. The staff was very nice and helpfull. The hotel had a convienience store but dont plan on using it because my friend bought a chapstick and it was ridiculously expensive. Overall I really liked the hotel and would stay there again if I went back to Boston.

We had a marvelous overnight stay at the Hilton in Waltham. Very close to the Mass Pike and near Boston, so an excellent place to stop when on business.
Every staff member was charming, and the room was neat, spacious and comfortable. Our first room had no TV remote and they moved us instantly. Nice TV and large desk for working as well as two beds and an easy chair. Also enjoyed the microwave and refrigerator. The wireless internet was free and very easy access.
The breakfast buffet for $10.99 was well worth it. A little of everything you could imagine, waffles, french toast, personally made omelets, cereals, fresh fruit, bacon, sausage. I can't think of anything they missed. We had planned on going out to eat, but realized we would have spent more for the same. The food was a little too cold, but otherwise great. And the staff again were exceptionally pleasant for 7:30am Sunday morning. No crowd there.
Great place to stay for a night.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for two nights on a family weekend visit to my son's college in Waltham. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very courteous and professional. We've stayed at another hotel in the area before and this time booked with an online discount service so I wasn't sure what to expect. After booking I called the hotel to see if they could put us in a king bed room/no smoking which they did. The room and bathroom were more than adequate for our stay as we were out most of the time. Maid service was excellent which was refreshing as my last hotel stays in several different states in the last few years has been disappointing (rooms not made up until late afternoon, not replacing towels, sloppy overall cleaning) We left the hotel to have breakfast on campus with my son and came back for awhile about 1 pm and all was clean. Exercise room and business center also nice. We did the breakfast buffet on the morning of our departure $10.95 pp and had freshly made scrambled eggs (could have had omelets) home fries, sausage, bacon and if you wanted cereals, muffins, etc. We left full for our trip back home. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Waltham.

Weekend visit and nothing was running from a service stand point. Hotel food was cold, not cooked well and very over priced. Service desk was not kind at all in the evenings. Requested cab service and was told to call myself from large man at desk. Asked for new room key from same person and didn't validate room or name on room. Had concerns about security. Would not stay again with all the other choices in the area.
