Here for 6 nights for a conference. I was pretty excited by the website and all the hype. Walking into the lobby was amazing - very grand. However it took 45 mins to check in and others in the lobby said that was the shortest line they had seen in days. I have a great conference room rate ($165/night). Lousy room though. Doesn't look a thing like the website! Average interstate travel hotel room at best. Bed is lumpy, no fridge as advertised, safe doesn't work, shower has mold and drips constantly. Furniture is old and worn. No view. TV blurred (though there is enough to do here that one really doesn’t need the TV). I’m also disappointed by the nickel and dime routine. When we checked-in we were notified of an additional $15/day plus tax that all rooms are charged. This is for WI-FI, 20 mins of local calls, 20 mins of toll-free (who doesn’t have their own cell anyway?), access to the gym (not the classes) and pools, and daily newspaper. These are amenities that most less expensive hotels include in the cost.

We stayed at this property only one night but I can't wait to go back. The grounds were absolutely beautiful. Our room had a small balcony & was just gorgeous & clean.
We spent some time by the outdoor pool drinking great " tropical" drinks. We also dined at Cascades & although it was a bit pricey ..it was worth every penny. Sushi was the best we have ever had & the martinis were awesome as well.
Over all we loved our stay & I am hoping to go back in fall for a few nights !! No complaints from us !!

Great Nashville Hotel

We've stayed at Opryland four times now, and intend to go back. The hotel has everything from country music on the back door (Grand Ol Opry) to great shopping (Opry Mills).
The hotel is huge, but has plenty to keep occupants happy. I recommend the revolving bar's cocktails and the Jack Daniels bar for late night entertainment.
Didn't use the new club, so no view, but it looks quite Vegas-esque in design.
We used the hotel as a base for the CMA Fest. The hotel offers a great shuttle service (for a fee), which got us back in good time each & every night.
Recommended!

We were at Gaylord Opryland for 6 nights. It's the second time we stayed here, and it was wonderful, again. The site itself is gorgeous, like it's own little world, temperature controlled, comfortable no matter how how it is outside.
The room was great, very spacious, comfortable beds, and our room had a fridge at no extra charge.
One thing, be prepared to walk a LOT, but the walks are through beautiful gardens, interesting shops and past great restaurants. The food is pretty good, tho pricey. Room service had a 30 minute guarantee and they kept to it in spite of the fact that the hotel was filled with over 3000 kids all looking for food after a late night event finished. Only thing we would have like was for chicken fingers to be on the room service menu-they were available in the Sports Bar and Irish Pub, tho!
All in all, I'd highly recommend, in spite of the price. It's a great vacation experience, very relaxing and beautifully kept up. All staff members we encountered were polite, courteous and efficient.
