I stayed here for two nights on business. It was booked for me so I didn't have any choice. However, given the choice next time I would certainly try to find somewhere else. The hotel is dark and in need of an upgrade. The decor is depressing and the food bland. However, the 'prize' has to go to the reception staff - totally disinterested and unhelpful! Even when three of them are behind reception chatting about something, guests had to wait until they had finished to be given their key. There must be better hotels in the city. If so, try to find one.

Acudimos a este hotel a pasar dos noches porque en él se celebraba la boda a la que íbamos. Lo cierto es que en recepción fueron correctos, si bien no nos acompañaron a la habitación ni nos dijeron donde estaba (por el número dedujimos que en la primera planta). En cuanto llegamos a la habitación nos quedamos con la boca abierta. Cómo es posible que un hotel de 4 estrellas permanezca aún con la decoración de los años 70 y no se reforme absolutamente nada. Los muebles de la habitación antiquísimos, la puerta del baño estaba repleta de humedad y la moqueta necesitaba un cambio urgente. En su favor he de decir que todo estaba bastante límpio y que en el baño encontrabas de todo lo necesario. El desayuno era correcto, tampoco nada del otro mundo. Sin embargo tengo que decir que el menú de la boda, que se celebró alli estaba bastante bien y el vino tinto que nos ofrecieron (un rioja) estaba bueno, además la atención de los camareros en la boda fue bastante amable. Hotel recomendable siempre que lo reformen. Hasta que no ocurra no volveré por allí

This hotel has a good location to Vitoria airport and the city centre. The staff are very helpful and despite some of them not speaking English, they always found another member of staff who did. Hotel is looking a little tired and shabby. For this reason alone I would give it a 3* plus rating. Our bedroom was at the back of the hotel on the 7th floor overlooking a residential block of flats and the rooms at the front overlooked a busy main road. The walls seemed quite thin as we could hear the other guests showering in their bathrooms. The first night in bed we were very hot and then discovered in the morning that the mattress cover was towelling on top with plastic underneath. Very strange! Only a couple of English language channels on the TV - BBC World News, Eurosport and CNN and we could have done with a music channel for background noise. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and enough there to eat to keep you going until well past lunchtime. At the weekend breakfast finished at 11.30 a.m. which is brilliant if you want to sleep in. If you like English tea, take your own teabags as the ones provided by the hotel were very tasteless. Although we had breakfast included in our room rate, it was 12 euros if you purchased it separately. While we were there, the restaurant had a set three course "fin de semana" menu for 24 euros but it was very limited (from what I recall there was a mixed Ibericos meat plate as one starter choice, squid and beef (together) with basmati rice or veal stuffed with mushrooms and foie gras for the main course choices and rice pudding with nougat ice cream for dessert). It seemed very popular with the Spanish guests. There was quite a good choice on the a la carte but overall the food was pretty average. If you're just passing through and staying one night then I would recommend this hotel. We got a bargain rate with Alpharooms so really can't complaint about anything too much so if you're contemplating staying here, make sure you get the best deal possible.

Este hotel está bien ubicado en cuanto al aeropuerto Vitoria y el centro de la ciudad. El personal es muy servicial y a pesar de que algunos de ellos no hablaban inglés, siempre encontraban a otro miembro que lo hablara. El hotel se mira un poco gastado y viejo. Sólo por este motivo le doy una clasificación de un poco más de 3 estrellas. Nuestra habitación estaba en la parte de atrás del hotel en el séptimo piso mirando un bloque residencial de apartamentos y las habitaciones en el frente miraban a la ajetreada avenida principal. Las paredes parecían ser muy delgadas ya que podías escuchar a otros huéspedes duchándose en sus baños. Nuestra primer noche en la cama teníamos mucho calor y por la mañana descubrimos que la cubierta del colchón tenía toalla en la parte de arriba con plástico debajo. ¡Muy extraño! Sólo había un par de canales en la televisión en inglés – BBC WorldNews, Eurosport y CNN, y nos hubiese servido tener un canal de música para música de fondo. El desayuno era abundante y variado, y había suficiente para comer para que estuvieras satisfecho hasta después del almuerzo. En los fines de semana el desayuno terminaba a las 11:30 a.m., que es perfecto si quieres dormir hasta tarde. Si te gusta el té inglés, lleva tus propias bolsitas ya que las que el hotel ofrecía estaban muy insípidas. Aunque el desayuno estaba incluido en el precio de nuestra habitación, si lo comprabas por separado eran 12 euros. Mientras estuvimos allí el restaurante tenía un menú de “fin de semana” de tres platos por 24 euros, pero estaba muy limitado (por lo que recuerdo había un plato de distintas carnes de Ibéricos como opción de entrada, calamar y carne (juntos) con arroz basmati o ternera rellena con champiñones y foie gras como opción de plato principal, y arroz con leche con helado de turrón para el postre). Parecía ser muy popular para los huéspedes españoles. Había una muy buena variedad en la carta pero en general, la comida era muy promedio. Si estás de pasada y sólo te vas a alojar una noche, entonces te recomiendo el hotel. Nosotros obtuvimos una oferta con Alpharooms así que no me puedo quejar mucho. Así que si estás considerando alojarte aquí, asegúrate de obtener el mejor precio posible.
