Very nice, clean hotel. We had a room on the second floor, non-smoking.....however, the hallway reaked of smoke.......the person at the front desk asked if we were smoking in our room ( apparently someone said to the person at the front desk that someone in our room was smoking?!)........they should really make smoking rooms their own separate floor.
Our room faced the main highway, so A LOT of traffic noise. Ask for a room facing the front of the hotel.
Other than that, no complaints. Very nice hotel, very clean, and conveniently close to the airport.

Two words: Run away!!! My wife, teenage daughter and I went to this hotel seeking a night's stay after being stranded overnight in Salt Lake City because of flight delays. We arrived at the hotel at about 11:30 p.m. Our experience began badly when we had to give the night front desk clerk our name three times. He then refused the airline's stranded passenger voucher, even though we had a confirmed reservation. We questioned this, and gave him the confirmation number. We also called the nationwide hospitality network, who again confirmed the reservation in his presence. He said he didn't care, as we hadn't confirmed the reservation with him. When we asked to speak with the manager, he blew up, threw our credit card and identification at us, and screamed at us to get the [--] out!!! Scared as to what might happen next, we left--and found a courteous staff and great accommodations at the Radisson Airport.
Best Holiday Inn Express anywhere

While traveling with two business colleagues we stayed here as a layover hotel near the Salt Lake City Airport. I've stayed at several Holiday Inn Express hotels, and this one is by far the cleanest, roomiest, friendliest, etc.
I believe we paid about $105 per room per night. For this price I got a very large clean room with all the amenities you would expect, including refridgerator, microwave, table, internet access, big comfortable beds, nice big bathroom, etc.
I'm worried about saying too much good about this hotel, because I'll sound like I work for them or something. But when you find a winner, you want to share, and this was definitely a winner.

Very Good new Holiday Inn Express near the Salt Lake Airport. The rooms were well appointed, new furnishings, and clean. Also, the hotel has a good free breakfast. Although not much is located right at the hotel, the hotel is close to the airport and only a couple miles from downtown SLC.
