Three star hotel.
Rate for my room (213, possibly the best in the hotel) was 140 euros, which is not great value, but OK. There may have been some way to obtain lower rates.
Location is good (near the Opera-Garnier) and close to enough Metro stations to make visits in Paris easy. Not a lot of quaint cheap restaurants in this district of the Right Bank.
Room was very nice, would be even more so in summer with its two balconies. Decent size, too. The street is quiet enough that sitting there would be possible. Double-glazing ensures quiet at night.
Furniture is dark wood. lighting tasteful and adequate.
No Internet, though, on the vast desk. You have to buy a card at the reception, and there is only access to one computer. Not what one expects these days.
