We stayed here for 5 days and when we go back to Paris, we will stay here again. The location was ideal. We took the Air France bus to the Arc de Triomphe stop and walked to the hotel in about 5 minutes. Just walk down Kleber and take a left at rue de Belloy. Every day we walked either to Trocadero area (about 15 minutes) and did some sightseeing from there, or we went to the Arc de Triomphe area and used the metro to get to different areas. Our room was an upgrade with a balcony onto the street(quiet at night). The room had lots of storage and the bathroom was big and it had a tub. Service was fine. The breakfast was standard and it was included in our rate.
Don't be afraid to stay here.

I take many of these reviews with a grain of salt, because you never know what little things will irritate people. I was a little nervous after the last review, but I'm not sure they were in the same place!
I was with a small group that spent several nights at this hotel. We were taken care of very well by not only the staff, but the owner, who was just delightful! I must commend Sebastien and France, who made dinner reservations, recommended options, gave directions, and took care of all manner of things for the group. I
watched as they and the owner of the hotel Madame Boileau interacted with different people in the lobby, and never did I experience anything other than friendly, helpful service.
Some rooms are small (what aren't in Paris), but there are some that are quite nice sized, all decorated differently, and all are comfortable. The continental breakfast is just fine, and offers more options than many other hotels. The mother/daughter team who work the breakfast room were prompt and gave quick and excellent service. If you wish to order an omelet, you can get one and pay a small upcharge, and the omelets were good!.
The hotel is in a great location---only a few blocks from the Champs Elysees, and right off Rue Kleber. I would stay here again, and I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say their service is as good and better than most I have stayed.
This is a little gem of a property with decent rates in this pricey city.
Sincerely,
Karol from Missouri

Our French friends reserved 2 nights for us at this hotel because their apartment is not air-conditioned and Paris was in the middle of a heatwave. The service was uninformed and disinterested from the limited staff. The croissants they gave us for our unincluded and somewhat pricey breakfast were stale. But the worst thing was that we learned firsthand the meaning of the word fleabag. I had only one bite after the first night and put it down to a mosquito, but by the morning of our last day I had 11 flea bites on my torso and stomach. I'd had a sensation of something crawling on the second night but didn't turn on the light as obviously, in retrospect, I should have. I see they permit pets and I wondered if the flea(s) who bit me had been left over from a visiting dog or cat. My husband was not bitten. I would not recommend this hotel even though the price and location were terrific.

I really do not know how the previous reviewer could rate this place as excellent, as well as raving about the splendid bathrooms... Make no mistakes, this hotel is basic, with functional, even utilitarian, rooms (metal wardrobe doors, office like suspended ceilings, etc.), but thankfully it is clean, and yes its position is very good indeed. Staff are reasonably helpful (or very helpful according to Parisian standards) and of course you may have brekfast in your room, but it's your basic continental fare consisting of a bread roll, orange juice and coffee. If you are looking for a no frill, good value place to satisfy your monastic streak you'd be very happy here.
