I stayed at this property for a four nights when I was in Tucson for a conference. The rooms are very secure and all face an interior courtyard. Mine faced the pool. If the room had not been a suite it might have been noisy from the pool activitiy, but it was easy to escape to the bedroom and avoid the noise.
The breakfast in the morning was great. It had all sorts of breads and fruits and even hot pancakes and eggs, etc. The only confusion was that you have to go outside to get the hot breakfast and it is short-order style in that you have to tell the cook what you want and then they cook it up for you while you wait. The checkin gives you cards for breakfast and the host is supposed to check you off when you come into the restaurant for breakfast. The only time they checked my card was on the weekend.
There is also a small room off the lobby that has a computer that is availiable. It was never very busy when I was there and they ask that you limit your time to 15 minutes.
When I checked out I noticed a discrepancy on my bill but I brought it to the attention of the clerk at check-out and they fixed it in under a minute. Overall, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is approximately three miles from downtown, on a very busy street. Our room was in the back so there was no issue with noise, but trying to get in the gate with luggage and hands free is a hassle. Our room was fairly clean, but definitely dated. The sheets were old, and had a cheap polyester bedspread from the 1970's. Our room was near the laundry room, so there was activity and loud talking all day. The bathroom was tiny! Our 1/2 bath is bigger than this. The shower was old and in need of repair. The air conditioner was noisy, the door between the bedroom and living room didn't fit and was very noisy. Only one remote control worked. If I had a choice, I wouldn't come back here.

We were in Tucson for a family vacation. We spent 3 nights at the Embassy Suites. I liked the hotel a lot. The suite was spacious (except the bathroom). The extra space really came in handy with a 3 year old along. The pool was very delightful and the whirlpool was very large. The breakfast was huge and had a great selection. We went to the evening reception one evening and really enjoyed the free drink.
The exercise room had up to date equipment. The treadmill was very nice and I enjoyed being able to get in my exercise.
I would recommend this hotel for families. The amenties were great for families. Also, the hotel is in a nice area of town.
The only drawback was that the directions on the website for the hotel were not accurate. There is construction on I-10 until 2010 and the downtown exits are closed. This was not noted on their website. Use Mapquest to get accurate directions.
Overall, a very nice hotel.

I found the room clean, quiet, spacious. the bathroom is VERY small, but the rooms are large. the decor is very dated, but, who cares for just one night. It is clean, comfortable. The check in staff is very friendly...free internet in the lobby with no hassles. The free breakfast includes making your own omlette, but you have to wait in line for about 10 minutes for the chef to complete your order. I have stayed there for one night, my third time, every week for a business meeting. Good location, too.
