I just stayed at the Laredo Embassy Suites. We had an amazing stay!
The staff was so enthusiastic and helpful. They always greeted us by our names and with a smile. The complimentry breakfast was delicious. Their managers reception offered a variety of beverages and hot appetizers that were very satisfying.
Above all, the staff at this hotel is incredible. They go out of their way to make sure your stay is the best it can be. If there was ever anything we needed, they were ready to help us. They have the best hospitality skills I have seen in years. I always choose Embassy Suites because of their suite style rooms, but this particular branch ranks above all of the rest. I recommend this hotel to anyone, and hope that they take my advice.

I have been working in Laredo Texas since mid February 2008 and have stayed at this Embassy Suites. I have found the staff to be the best that I have experinced. I am a road worrier and can tell you by experiance that this hotel has service of excellence.
The staff have become part of my family since I am here more than my own home. The staff is respectful and always greating with sincerity. I would recommned this hotel to the pickiest of travelers.

We come to Laredo at least once a month and this is the first and last time we will stay at the Embassy. I like Embassy because of the size of the room and the free breakfast, but we had ton's of problems.
First of all, I have to agree with what other people have written about the lack of concern or service attitude at the front desk. They never smiled, just demanded credit card, no directions to the room, no conversation with us at all. Never made eye contact!!!!!!!!!!!!
We got to the room and it had not been cleaned. I called the front desk and no one answered the room. We came back to the desk and we were told to stay in the room and "somebody would get to us eventually." I had to prepare for a meeting later in the day, so they finally agreed to move us. The second room had been cleaned but not very well. We found trash in the trash can from a previous guest, dirty wash cloth on the door knob in the room and hair all over the tub and floor. I called the General Manager several times, but never received a call back. I asked that housekeeping be sent in again to clean the room, it never happened. My wife eventually got down on her hands and knees and cleaned the tub and floor.
The complimentary breakfast was not very good. Many of the items were either cold or had run out all together. No one was bussing tables, so the dirty dishes were just stacked up on the other tables. It was not a very pleasant environment.
The kicker came at check-out. I was supposed to have the government rate but instead they had charged me almost $200.00 extra. No one at the front desk was able to fix the overcharge. It has been a week now since we checked out, and I still can't get the charge reversed, so I will have to dispute it with my credit card company. Several calls to the General Manager have not been returned.
Do yourself a favor. stay somewhere else!!!!!!!!!!!
